I believe this might be bugged, it isn't showing up on my level 75 Paladin nor my wife's level 78 Druid. We both did the Waterworks quest too.

This quest is working for me but the exclamation point is not showing up on my map. The coords provided by Wowhead (58.35, 64.30) are correct. The quest is picked up from a sign on a post though, which may be causing some confusion. See the above-linked quest start DELVER'S CALL: Dread Pit for a screenshot of the sign.

I'm not sure if the location where you pick the quest up has changed since 11.1.5 but it's not in the outside world map at all, it's inside the Delve right after you enter the Delve itself. I've also submitted a screenshot but as of writing this I never know if they post them or not. So, whatever you do, don't go flying around the countryside like I did.

I am not sure when this changed but after giving up trying to look for this quest, I just decided to try doing the delve. Immediately upon entering the delve, there is a note on the floor with the quest inside the delve.

Description

Two things are bad for business. Earnest competition and the Dread Pit caves. We need someone to deal with the latter! Something bad is going on here. We lost a bunch of workers in this cave. We need you to deal with the threat, so we can keep business booming!
