Shows up on map but not from Kalecgos when I go to him. Only showed up on Tuesday so maybe with EU weekly reset tomorrow it will be available

The Veiled Ossuary is located in Thaldrazus, north of Valdrakken. When I clicked on the quest while in Zaralek Caverns it kept showing me the quest was in the caverns. Nope, head up top and the map should be correct.

The Veiled Ossuary is located on a small island to the extreme Northeast of Thaldrazus, not even close to Valdrakken, at 62,18. I missed the little circle with a 1 in it because of the hundred other uncompleted quests showing up on my map...

I think it's worth mentioning that you must be level 70 to accept this quest. The quest was not available to my alt initially, but as soon as I hit 70, it showed up on the map

If you're here trying to do the Blue Dragonflight questline in order to get you Tarecgosa mount (standalone), but can't find the quest, here's what I did ...

I couldn't find Kalecgos at the Azure Archives, but a quest did finally pop up there (on my map) that said "Winterspring", which is one of the quests in the Blue Dragonflight series that eventually leads to the mount. Odd. However, no NPC there actually offered the Winterspring quest, it was simply phased out at the Archives.

I kept backtracking and trying to find any pre-reqs that would phase me in to see Kalecgos, and eventually happened upon a quest in Ohn'ahran Plains at 71-80 (Forkriver Crossing), called "Into the Azure". I followed the storyline quests (the exclamation points with dark brown shield icons), which only took about 5 mins, and it took me to just outside the archives to Kalecgos. I did a few more very short quests, (trying not to give spoilers) where he's questioned "where is the rest of the Blue Dragonflight?" and he says they're scattered. Sounded a lot like the intro to the moutn questline to me!

I checked the map and in Valdrakken (NOT in the Veiled Ossuary), there was a quest named "Keeper of the Ossuary". In Val, I found Kalecgos atop the tower in the Seat of the Aspects with the Keeper quest where you're asked to meet Senegos at the Veiled Ossuary with the quest "Keeper of the Ossuary" which led directly to "On the Trail Again". Now you're on the right track to do the Blue Dragonflight quest!

PS: After you get the mount, it's probably not going to show up in your list of mounts after learning it due to a glitch. Resetting UI and logging out and back in don't work. Hearth somewhere! Now it'll show up!

After doing a TON of research, I have finally found you can not do the quest "Rhapsody in Blue" (which starts the quest for the mount) unless you have the staff "Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest". So if you've been trying to figure out why you can't get the quest after you have completed all the breadcrumb quests before it. That is why. You're welcome.

I missed Dragonflight entirely, so getting this quest unlocked on a character new to DF (the one with Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest) was a bit of work.

You have to do The Azure Span questline, starting from To the Azure Span right up to The Blue Dragon Oathstone (or close to it - this quest became available before I turned in that quest). Once that's done, you'll be able to start this quest Keeper of the Ossuary.

If while doing this quest it warns you about skipping Azure Span Chapter 1 and you are playing a Dracthyr you might have missed one this two quests: For Blue Eyes Only or Wayward Archivists.

you did all dragonflight quests on your main but not on this alt? dont worry, go to valdraken, at the top of the tower where all dragon aspects are, blue dragon will give you this quest.

If you have an alt with Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest and DIFFERENT character who has done all the Dragonflight quests, and you think you need to start with this quest to complete all the Azure Span quests to get Keeper of the Ossuary to appear, YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT. You do NOT have to complete any of the quests in the Azure Span on your Dragonwrath-Having Alt.

Simply go to the top of Valdrakken where all the dragons are hanging out and Kalecgos will give you Keeper of the Ossuary.

Okay, it took me a while to figure out how to get this quest to appear as I'm trying to get the Tarecgosa appearance in my mount journal. As a previous comment stated, I did need to complete the full main campaign for Dragonflight until all the Oathsworn were complete. I had to quest all the way until I killed Raszageth.

Afterwards, you are sent back to the Seat of the Aspects. Turn in the quest and zone out of the area. When you come back, Kalecgos should offer the quest.

This is currently bugged for at least myself, I'm assuming I can't be the only one. Kalecgos is not offering this quest (not in Valdrakken or in the Azure Archives) despite my mage being eligible for the quest, I'm level 80 and I've completed the prerequisite quest Moving On and I've previously completed Keeper of the Ossuary on my priest character who has the Tarecgosa Visage mount. For some reason my mage and my warlock are unable to pickup the quest. I opened a ticket and was told to turn on low level quest tracking and check with all versions of Kalecgos which are listed here, neither offer the quest which is something I pointed out in my ticket in the first place. The GM told me to submit a bug report, they didn't offer any sort of help, only confirmed that yes I am eligible, yes I should be able to pick it up but that was that. 2 days of waiting for a generic nothing reply after 3 days of running around and doing quests I know I didn't need to do but thought I might as well try it anyway in case I could fix it myself.

If you cannot pickup this quest and you are eligible please open a ticket and submit a bug report. I don't think they will be able to do anything but maybe if enough of us submit reports they will. Its ridiculous that a monthly subscription game isn't able to assist their paying customers when an issue like this arises. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement, I've gotten that cata legendary on multiple characters solely to do the Rhapsody in Blue and now I can't even progress to that point due to some random bug.

I saw a lot of conflicting information while trying to unlock this quest on an alt for Tarecgosa reasons, so I'll add my own anecdote to the pile!

Completing the Azure Span campaign didn't make it available for me on its own. But after I went on to complete the Thaldraszus campaign (all the way through Vault of the Incarnates: Fury of the Storm-Eater and Together We Are Unstoppable), I was able to run right over to Kalecgos (still at the Seat of the Aspects) and pick up the quest.

Besides the Azure Span and Thaldraszus, I hadn't done any of the other Dragonflight zone campaigns on this alt; all I'd done is the intro quests taking me to the Waking Shores in the first place. Consequently, I don't know what besides Thaldraszus was actually a prerequisite (but I doubt doing the Azure Span would hurt). Hope this helps!

Alexstrasza and I plan on laying to rest the remaining essences of Malygos and Sindragosa. She has held on to their lingering essences after both were slain years ago. Senegos said there was a time where dragons would be laid to rest in the Veiled Ossuary. Unfortunately, the place is a mess. He's gone ahead to clean the area up with Stellagosa. Could you aid them?
