Brightblade's Bones have an optional objetive "Rescue Cymre's pet marmoset", actually no rewards included.
To Rescue Cymre's pet marmoset you have to give Lost Banana to Lil' Poshy.
You can use /tar Lil to see her.

The climbing gear is a 'pack' that sits on the seat of the wagon. I had a hard time seeing the gold glow. If you fail, you have to pick up the pack again. At one point there is an NPC that will kick you off the mountain.

The monkeys will throw bananas at you and cause you to lose grip. You can fall in a few places and get back on, so if you have low grip, head to the right.

By the way, anyone remember the Brak show?
One time I hired a monkey to take notes for me in class.
I would just sit there with my mind a complete blank while the monkey scribbled on little pieces of paper.
At the end of the week the teacher said, "Class, I want you to write a paper using your notes."
So I wrote a paper that said "Hello, my name is Bingo. I like to climb on things. Can I have a banana? Eek eek."
I got an F. When I told my Mom about it she said "I told you never trust a monkey!"

At first you're only likely to notice the rock-ledges directly infront of you, which won't contain enough bones to get completion.

There are actually several spots along the base of the cliff where you can start and most of the bones+paths are got to by starting on the right side of the cave entrance.

During the World Quest Brightblade's Bones, if you save Lil' Poshy as part of the optional objective, by giving it Lost Banana, you'll get the buff Banana Deflection Device and you'll be immune to the hazard during the World Quest.

This immunity counts towards the achievement Toe Tension and can be easily farmed by jumping around monkeys.

This climbing WQ can be a pain, thanks to marmosets that will throw fruit at you, making you lose grip in big chunks. To prevent this, you must find the Lost Banana, which can be found under some roots about half-way up the waterfall side of the path. Giving the banana to Lil' Poshy will not only complete the optional objective, it will also give you a buff that makes you immune to the thrown fruit. Doing that part first makes the rest of the quest pretty easy. You can find Lil' Poshy in a tree on a ledge higher than where you found the banana, but on the other side of the waterfall.

This world quest requires you to have your rock climbing fully upgraded, otherwise you will not be able to complete it without extreme trial and error. (Not enough rocks will appear.)

For those of you looking for this world quest, it appears at approximately 22.80 95.70 coordinates of the Waking Shores. Lower left corner of your map where it seems to overlap with Ohn'ahran Plains. Apex Canopy map area. Nearest flight path is the Apex Observatory.

I got to Poshy by climbing up the two rocks on the inner side of the waterfall and then going over the edge when my grip timed out so that I landed on the branch. I may have convinced it to do that by holding forward movement key down. One of those things that will never happen again? Or maybe repeatable. Hopefully that helps someone else.

You need to be renown 6 with Dragonscale Expedition, and probably do the beginning questline to then be able to see the world quest Brightblade's Bones.

While you're at it you can also get the battle pet Bugbiter Tortoise from Cymre Brightblade if you have the two items needed to purchase the battle pet (Eroded Fossil and Petrified Dragon Egg)

Can you tell what the hell is going on with this world quest?

I've been waiting for months for it to show up to deliver the items and get the pet and I haven't seen it for a single day.

And yes, I have the reputation with the Dragon Expedition at 25 and the escalation missions unlocked.

So is this another classic moment from Blizzard where this WQ is just not reappearing on the list of quests to complete? Been waiting since patch drop for this to reappear and its just two inventory spots permanently waiting till they decided to let the quest appear.

I also came here to see if anybody else is having the same issue. I haven't seen this quest show up in MONTHS - and even recently when I found out about the battle pet you can get - the last 3 weeks. I tweeted to the devs & blizzard CSR to see if they have any ideas...
