You can find Slanken at the base of the waterfall outside Glitterfall Basin. Slanken is trapped by an enchantment and needs to be carried out without touching the water It takes ~3 casts of Door of Shadows, if you don't feel like doing this as a jumping puzzle.

The Ember Court quest "RSVP: Choofa" seems to be bugged for alot of people who can't see it or pick it up.

I absolutely hated this quest.. with the burning intensity of a thousand firey suns.

Ended up cheesing it by using Door of Shadows as someone else suggested. It was worth to stand around just waiting for the cooldown..

When you have to get the guy out of the water, it's super easy, stand as close to the edge as you can with guy in head, door to shadows to land, walk to the objective. Literally finished this in 5 seconds, just teleport with door to shadows to that shore you see on this screenshot https://imgur.com/DtK2blf

Save yourself some headache and get your Anglers Fishing Raft from your toy box. Use the raft next to the water lili first, then talk to Slanknen. With him on your head just raft to the finishing line and you will get credit.

To unlock Choofa first talk to Lady Ilinca at /way #1525 28.6 41.0 Lady Ilinca.
Buy, then use Invitation: Choofa.
Go to Choofa at /way #1565 63.68 36.61 Choofa.
Pick up RSVP: Choofa which will ask you to ask his friends to join the party.
Awool is nearby at /way #1565 62.66 35.25 Awool
Rury is nearby at /way #1565 63.18 37.60 Rury/ he is also at /way #1565 40.05 38.78 Rury
Slanknen is in need of rescue at /way #1565 49.12 39.87 Slanknen.
The intended way is to save him is to jump from lily pad to lily pad, but that's annoying.
There are many alternatives such as water walking (Elixir of Water Walking, DK Path of Frost, Shaman Water Walking, Underlight Angler, Glimmerflies on Strings, Bipsi's Bobbing Berg, Anglers Fishing Raft, and probably many more).
Return to to Choofa at /way #1565 63.68 36.61 Choofa to turn in RSVP: Choofa and receive RSVP: Choofa.
Use RSVP: Choofa and you are done.

Another Venthyr strat: jump one leaf to the left. Door of shadows to the far one (as far as it reaches) on the left. And just jump to the shore and done.

It's really disrespectful how Slanknen jumps in the water and swims away after you rescue him.

If you speak with Awool, then abandon the quest and pick it up again, you won't be able to complete the "Awool ready" step again immediately. The option to speak with the NPC is available, but it does not do anything while Awool is flying next to Choofa. You'll need to wait for the NPC to reset back to its original location before you are able to complete the step again. I am not sure of how long you need to wait exactly. I abandoned the quest again, went to complete two other RSVP quests and when I came back to pick up the quest again, the NPC had reset.

Warlocks: If you have the Burning Rush talent, you can use it to run faster, which makes you jump farther, making the jumping easier if you want to go that route.

The worst part of this quest is that if you get sent to the beginning while you're too far away... It logs you out. It's the same bug that some people get while falling in the Maw because the game boots you if you're moving that far a distance in such a quick amount of time. I've been logged out twice already by this in the last 20 min.

Easy for mages. Alter time at the end of the maze, fly to Slanknen, pick him up, alter time again (or let it wear off), done!

I just door of shadowed to the far right lily pad, then jumped the rest of the way across given I didn't have leisurely gate. So much easier than the intended way tbh.
