I did this quest but I didn't get any credits for destroying the body, so I decided to abandon the quest and re-accept it so I could do the event over again.
After porting out using the provided item for it, I abandoned the quest only to find out I can't re-accept it anywhere.

Anybody else having this issue?

Edit: I made a GM ticket and after going through some of the usual solutions, the GM logged onto my character and enabled the quest manually it seemed. I asked him if this was the only way to re-accept a quest which is obtained through the new system (I'll call it on-distance questgiving for now), but he said that if such issues would occur more often they would look for a solution.

I have found the solution to this problem.
first of all dont kill her in mid air
if you should happen to do (dots n so on)
then you can go back to get quest giver and talk to the guy say you lost your way and that (remember to abandon the quest first.. then he will teleport you inside where you then auto will have to accept the quest again and there you go a new try just remember dont kill them mid air..)

First time I tried this quest I didn't get credit (maybe because I killed her in mid-air). I started by attacking Zanzil, and then attacking Jeklik whenever Zanzil was away.

Second time I tried it I started by attacking Jeklik, I never attacked Zanzil. I was able to kill Jeklik without Zanzil doing anything, he just stood there. This time I got the quest completed.

I'm playing a mage, and thus was able to attack from range. Maybe this way I didn't aggro Zanzil or something, I don't know.

Alright, this is a frustrating quest and i have experienced all the problems that have been complained, but I found the correct way to finish the quest, you will get credit. First, you need to attack Zanzil, once he is at 600 health or so he will say "I can't take this no more, mon" and will disappear, he will also drop "Zanzil's Elixir" You can click the elixir and it will heal you for about 300 health. This happens every time he disappears. Then, go attack High Priestess Jeklik, you will have about 10 seconds to attack Jeklik before Zanzil appears again, you need to go and start attacking Zanzil again until he is at 600 health, click the elixir again and starting attacking Jeklik again, you need to repeat this cycle until you have defeated Jeklik. Once this has been done, a portal will appear at the area where you began attacking Zanzil and you will receive credit. Turn in the quest and continue on. I really hope this helps everyone, this is a very difficult quest.

Easy to do as a Rogue. Sap Zanzil, then fight Jeklik, Zanzil won't react til she is dead.

Did as so many before me kill Jeklik mid air, surprise no credit, but the quest clearly states that your going to stop the resurrection, so gz blizzard again

I got a different answer. Just as I was reading the comments, a guy came with the same quest. I saw that I could attack the priestess and kill her. This got me a completed quest and I proceded to the next one. I also noticed that there was a flask or something that dropped from Zanzil and I picked it up.

I did the same exact thing as Majiick had stated (before reading his comment).

You have to attack/kill Zanzil, force him to drop the Elixir, drink/grab it as he vanishes, kill the body before/after he re-appears. He then creates a new portal and you follow him into Plunging Into Zul'Gurub, and automagically are offered the next part of this chain on the other side (High Priest Venoxis).

Holy god, both of these quests are incredibly difficult for casters, due to the fact that they never, ever give you a way to recharge your mana. No breaks from combat to drink, no mana pots. It took me about 10 minutes of wanding and alternately casting curses when I could to slowly, slowly whittle down Jeklik to death. Venoxis was just a no-go in general. Burned through my mana, and they healed him to full. It's like they never considered that priests might play the questline.

The elixir restores mana as well as health, so that helps a lot for casters

You will have to walk by land to the place specified. Don't try to just fly to the spot, it will not work.
At least, that's what happened to me.

DO NOT ATTACK ZANZIL!

The easiest way to do this quest is just to attack the high-priestess. Nobody will attack you and you won't have any mid-air problems, when she's dead (again) Zanzil will make himself a portal and escape. Easy.

If you do attack him and get the non-completion bug, just go back to the area you portaled in at and the both of them will reappear, saving you the whole abandon and travel palava.

Having problems with this quest. I don't see Zanzil anywhere, just her body laying there, and it says "High Priestesss Jaklik is nearly healed!" over and over in the middle of the screen, but I can't even hit her body because she's skull level to me and she evades (bugs?)

The Quest "High Priestess Jeklik" is bugged and cannot be completed for me as when I transport to Zul'Gurub neither Zanzil or The Priestess is there. They are completely gone I have tried removing all Addons and Repairing my game. I even went as far as full re-installation. None of these fixed the issue.

I sent a support ticket also but can anyone here help?

Gamemaster Kilkrozen here, great to hear from you today! I understand that you are unable to complete the quest "High Priestess Jeklik" at the moment. I had look into it and unfortunately there is a known issue with this quest that our devs are working to resolve as soon as possible however as of now we do not have ETA for its resolution.

I know this wasn't the answer you were looking for and I can understand any frustration you may feel, especially when its holding you back from and achievement like loremaster. I would like to genuinely apologise for any inconvenience cause and assure that we will resolve this issue as soon as we can :)

July 12, 2018; 7.3.5: Not bugged, Jeklik takes damage continuously. Quest finishes when her unresponsive corpse dies.

I successfully completed this quest. This can only work for ranged damage. I am a mage and I started getting jekliks health down until almost dead. Then I killed zanzil. I didn't pick up the bottle he drops. Then I killed jeklik. It works! The portal popped after I received credit

Literally stopped my Loremaster progression because this is bugged. I am in the area and there is no High Priestess. What is here is the felcycle puzzle. Completely took over this area and it probably bugged the quest. I opened a ticket although it probably won't help. I'll update if I get a solution but for now it looks like no more Loremaster.

Doable as of 11.1.7, just be sure to walk to Jeklik while inside the instance instead of flying. Kill jek'lik and ignore zanzil.

Description

Ahead of you looms a ramp up to one of the city's many terraces. The bat-shaped totems ahead of you indicate that this is the domain of High Priestess Jeklik, a follower of Hir'eek.

Jeklik was one of the Hakkar-worshipping priests that Zanzil was planning to resurrect. Perhaps if you hurry, you can stop the resurrection!
