Currently, Lorna Crowley will not respond to my Horde Dracthyr Hunter's request to spar. I have done all the other quests in the Arcantina without issue. Not sure why she will not respond to the spar request.

How do you get this quest, is it a weekly? I just finished and handed in the previous quest "The Fragrance of the Dunes" but there's no follow-up to be seen, or any clue to where to get it.

This is absolutely a phasing issue, If you can't spar her.

So if you haven't done any of the quests in this area, you're going to have to take the couple quests that are available from Tess and Lillian. It's really not very many quests. I think it all took me about 10 minutes and you actually get a mount for doing these quests which is really fun. Then you can spar her.

I take the portal from the Arcantina, no one is in Gilneas. Nothing to interact with, no quests available. Just a barren area. Completely bugged.

As Thistlebug mentioned, this does may seem as a phasing issue when trying to spar with Commander Lorna Crowley.

At least on Horde side: if after talking to Commander Lorna Crowley she "dissappears", and does it again everytime you talk to her, try this:

On the same map Ruins of Gilneas, go to /way 49.69 57.04, and begin the quest Knee-High.
Continue the questline until you finish Beginning a New Dawn, which has a cinematic and gives you a mount Reins of the Gilnean Prowler.
Try to spar with Commander Lorna Crowley again, or join someone already fighting her.

On the minimap it should show you where the roses are, if not, the coordinates are /way 55.30 52.82

I had no trouble doing the sparring or finding the roses and the rug. I just can't find where to put the roses in the Arcantina. Rug spot showed up on the minimap, but not the roses spot, anyone direct me to where the roses go?

If Lorna Crowley disappears when you try to spar with her, it's due to a phasing bug.

I wasn't able to spar with until I completed Cities in Dust, which is part of a long quest chain. Once I completed that last quest, then I was able to spar with her. It's a 57 long quest chain so it's going to take some time.

if you also have a phasing issue with the mob, and can't duel with her, try your alliance alt (if you're having issues on horde) that worked for me

Does anyone know where I need to place the Rug and Hid ein the Arctina?

Playing as a Monk, apparently you just straight up kill Lorna if you use Touch of Death on her. I'm assuming that doesn't happen if you just get her down to a specific health percentage.

Unable to complete, Crawley just vanishes when I try to spar with her. Bugged....

If you forgot to get one of the "optional" items in this quest you can abandon it before turning it in and restart to get the items you missed to place in The Arcantina.

It was more feasible to wait for someone to come along who had done the questline and tag the target than try to do the line XD

The quest text says:

"Optionally, acquire the Clefthoof Hide from Serpent's Coil in the Blasted Lands and the Dried Roses from Pyrewood Village in Silverpine Forest."

This is incorrect. The Clefthoof Hide is in the Burning Steppes & the Dried Roses are Found in Gilneas City

You hang the Dried Roses /way 42.20 48.8, just behind Morta Gage

and the Clefthoof Hide /way 38 54, next to Gidwin

I can duel her but she evades so much. =/

I had her stuck at 88% while all of my abilities whiffed through the air FFS.

Let her reset, did it with a group of ppl to get her down fast.

A Generational Moment

Eitrigg and Darius want you to spar with their children. Optionally, acquire the Dried Roses from Gilneas City in Ruins of Gilneas and the Clefthoof Hide from Blackrock Stronghold in the Burning Steppes.

Description

It's always good to see someone with your history continue to speak to us old dogs, $p. Eitrigg and I have been talking about legacy recently. Did you know we both fought with the Valarjar against the Legion? Interesting how long histories can intertwine. But our real legacy is our children. I wonder if you would have time to check in with them both. While you're there, make sure they're keeping their skills sharp.
