Hey Blizzard, if you're reading this - this quest makes no sense whatsoever - Garrosh's grave is in AU Draenor which is supposedly no-longer accessible lore wise (Mag'har introduction quest). You really need to get your writes check their facts.

Alternate Draenor was made inaccessible when they closed the rift and was only accessible by a sliver of the vision of time which was given to Eitrigg - which we used to gain access to the timeline again, although it had now skipped forward to aligning with our chronological time (Thus 35+ years in the future from our last visit there in WoD).

When we arrived, the Draenei and Lightforged had seized the power over Draenor and were now forcing others to submit to their edicts or pay the price.
Most of the Mag'har refused and were thus at the heavily losing end of a war with them.

We couldn't defeat their forces and so in desperation opened the rift back to our universe at Azeroth, and evacuated the Mag'har of the alternate timeline to our world.
The rift was then closed. That's how we got the Mag'har into the Horde. They're from alternate Draenor, not Outland.

... So this quest either retcons THAT questline + retcons Mag'har the Horde got (The alternate universe orcs and thus removes Geya'rah along with such).
Or this quest is simply Horde themed yet ultimately not canon ... which would sort of be worse than the above, since it'd merely exist to cheese players off. lol

The lore for this quest has now been updated and no longer invalidates the new AU Draenor Mag'har lore. Instead of going to alternate Draenor, we're now returning to Outland Nagrand to learn more about Garrosh's past.

The Weathered tome is right next to Grandmother Geyah on the outer wall of the hut next to the crates and bags
It is then placed on the shelf leading into the room you get this quest from.

Another reason why Thrall felt the need to make Garrosh Warchief was because the only other worthy candidate that could have taken up the mantle was Dranosh Saurfang: the son of the Hordes' legendary High Overlord Varok Saurfang, who also upheld the ideals of strength and honor that were espoused by Varok that made Saurfang the Younger a mutual ally to the Alliances' Highlord Bolvar Fordragon that the two were arguably close friends.

It was nothing short of a tragedy that Dranosh had been the one to die at the Wrathgate, only to be risen into undeath by the Lich King and set against us in Icecrown.

For the optional item, the Weathered Tome is located at /way 56.31 34.30

It's close to Grandmother Geyah, near the wall.

For any Alliance players curious: yeah, you can turn in Obsidian Warbeads to Warden Bullrok for More Warbeads!, but you won't get anything for it, so you can't secretly become exalted with The Mag'har or anything.

Description

My sister Krenna was once a Conqueror in the Horde's armies. Ruthless. Brutal. Some said a tyrant. But she was different when we were young. Scared, but always kind to me. Warm to those she would let in. Did power change her? And if it changed her into a tyrant, did it change Garrosh Hellscream as well? I know who Krenna was. I do not know who Garrosh was. Travel to Nagrand and find out.
