My favorite memory has to be during Vanilla. It was a small server back then, Azjol-Nerub. The alliance was fairly huge, but the horde was pretty small. At this particular time, there were only around 3 or 4 level 60s in the horde, and the alliance was leading a huge raid on the Crossroads. I was a newbie, a new player with a level 30 or so orc warrior. I just remember this day because I remember seeing my first level 60. It was a female orc warlock, standing on top of a hill casting Rain of Fire on top of her alliance enemies, burning them all with searing fire damage. It was awe-inspiring and one of my first memorable WoW moments. It made me want to be that awesome. I also remember fighting with my life FOR THE HORDE! It was just pure awesome and my first grand-scale fight. This was also early in Vanilla, I distinctly remember it being before Warriors' Retaliation having a 30-attack cap, as that was one of my only ways to help, haha.It was an amazing day, that I remember vividly to date. I wish I could go back to that time with what I have and know now :(.
My favorite wow moment was when i got my char to lvl 80 the joy i felt and excitement and anticipation was just glorious. Then Cata came out and i had to do 5 more levels. Then it all happened again like dejah vu.
My favorit memories are when i get to play with my son. For a long time we were states apart and wow is a great place to get together and connect.
My favorite moment in WoW was at an extremely frustrating time playing the new Heroic mode of Zul'Gurub. We had wiped over 10 times trying to get the Here, Kitty Kitty... achievement with a few members of my guild. Our tank had to quit, and so we were just waiting in front of High Priestess Kilnara, when our mage got stuck behind a box. He was extremely reluctant on using the stuck tool to kill himself, so I, being a warlock put down a summoning portal. To make things even more funny, our tank arrived just as the group was summoning the mage from 5 yards away!
My very best memory was back in vanilla, when I was but a wee Orc Warrior of 17 levels. Patch 1.9 had come, and it was Mal'Ganis's turn for the opening of the gates - a Sunday evening. My little 13 year old self was so excited that I hopped on a vent server with my friend's guild and we fought until the very end of the event in The Barrens, the first time I had ever been on voice chat. It felt more like a living, breathing world than it has ever for me at that moment, and because of that moment I remain hooked hoping (fruitlessly) that Blizzard would do something like it again.
My favorite memory has to be... When we tried to do a For The Alliance at thunderbluff as we were going up the elevator (*Note* the horde knew we were comming cause someone leaked we were going there first) So as soon as we all got to the top, all i hear is Whoshhhh! a Boomkin used Typhoon and knocked of half of the raid, the rest of the raid died from a lot of hunters and paladins,we all started dieing of laughing in vent i was crying it was so funny. i love this game, well Thanks for reading :D
My most memorable WOW experience I would have to say was the moment I received my epic flying speed. I spent months farming for that gold never really even mounting up the amount of gold i needed. Flying slow mining saronite in Scholizar basin.. grinding money. Worst part was, the others flying past at lightning speed mining the node I might have spotted, and began to mine. From those fast fliers to the Chinese farmers stealing the rest i became very frustrated. Weeks went by and after many hours of mindless grinding and accomplishments in the Lick King raid with my guild, I became a wealthy man! I walked up to that trainer and hit buy EPIC FLY SPEED woot woot! Ever since then their hasn't been nothing i cant work my way to. I thank blizzard for its entertainment and fun, without something to work towards it just really isn't a game.
My favourite moment was when I got the Time-Lost Proto Drake. I had been heading up to the Storm Peaks, just in case, on and off for months. I never camped but used to just fly the route and hope that one day I found it. One day I was afk and my partner heard the NPC scan go off. There it was, flying around just above me. I managed to shoot it down and kill it just like that. I was so excited I cried! lol. anyway, that would have to be the single best thing that ever happened to me in WoW.
My favorite memory is beating Deadmines for the first time. Took me hours and hours. I bet I tried twenty times, alternating between "this is awesome" and "I hate this ^$#%@ game." Finally beat it and was hooked for life.
My favorite memory of WoW was when I first hit level 70 on my paladin, it was my first character and my favorite overall class, so it felt like I was literally on top of the world, I could then join my friends in the end game content of Burning Crusade, Karazhan for the first time, hearing the organ playing at the Opera Event, I could hardly tank I was enjoying the music so much. I just felt as if I didn't have a care in the world, nothing to could stop me, I was tanking, I had brilliant music being played. And I was able to raid with my friends. What more could one ask for?
