I really like this concept. Hopefully they will expand this to heroic dungeons and raids.

not sure why people say this system will make the game anti social - no one talks in pugs anyway unless there is problems and it gets toxic then anywayMMOs haven't offered positive social experiences outside of in-guild/discord clicques for a long timehonestly i'd upgrade from basic to the full expansions for this probably - would love to be able to chill and do dungeons at my own pace instead of the uber rushed skip-everything-possible pace of PUG groups

They should go ahead and add random mythic dungeon finder mid-way through each season as well, I'm actually shocked this still hasn't happened after all these years, it should have started back in BFA, or even Legion. The only times these mythic dungeons see any activity even just 4-5 weeks into each season is when the dungeon weekly is active, and even then, getting into groups can be time consuming if you're an altoholic. This is a way to keep the content in active rotation for many people, and make the weekly quest less painful to complete on multiple alts, the bonus satchel could be updated to epic quality, brimming with even more gold, flightstones, and consumables. If Classic WOTLK can have a random gamma dungeon finder, there's no reason players shouldn't be able to queue into random mythic dungeons in retail.
This is awesome, now we really need to expand this thing for m+ and raids.
I hope there's some fun banter going back and forth! Something along the lines of Darktide where they just shout stuff and raz each other. Some tidbits of lore maybe too?So much possibility here. I really like the idea of getting to see the instances I normally just skip (or when I do run them, never getting the time to actually stop and look around...)
this is crazy they get rid of multiboxers that loved doing dungeons/mythic. and replace them with Bots. lol

I don't feel like reading through 4 pages of comments. So I am not sure if this has been said or not. If we have a character at that level spec, let us assign it a place in the AI group. Doesn't even have to be the talents we assigned it it can run completely on the AI it just looks like our character. PLEASE.
Imagine if you could teach the AI your playstyle for each role by logging into different alts and doing these Follower Dungeons for each role/spec, where it then uses your item level from each character and scales the damage/healing they deal accordingly, this includes things like interrupt order, stun rotations, etc. You could basically do M+ with AI versions of yourself at that point if you actually got the required skill to train it, will never happen though.
Let's do the same thing with raids so I can have competent allies and push mythic alone.
