Yes! Please do this! This will stop forcing PVE people to PVP (like now) and stop forcing PVP people to PVE (like in many other expansions).Please make PVP gear have low ilvl in PVE and high ilvl (higher than all PVE) in PVP like in WoD and keep it that way forever.
Considering? We've been wanting a separation between Pve and Pvpgear since they removed it. Weird how so much feedback and critique just gets put on a pile of suggestions to dust for 6 years
There is skill in determining what gear is best for your class, this comes down to choices in how much haste, vers, crit, mastery you want. Whether you value an iLvL 200 with good stats over a ILvL207 with bad stats. These people talking about homogenizing all the stats across all of the characters in PvP are clearly PvE focused, or very very casually do PvP. There's a problem with fresh alts entering BG's and getting blasted by people with 3 times their damage and twice their health. I would suggest considering a "catch up" PvP scaling system that brings ILvL -200 up to 200 or something, or possibly doing a scaling gearing system where most people are on an equal footing BUT ONLY IN RANDOM BATTLEGROUNDS, absolutely do not let this touch rated PvP at all not even with a 10 foot pole.It's also hilarious to see all these PvE'ers whine about getting a trinket and saying that we need to go back to seperating PvP gear and PvE gear when PvE gear has been either BiS or highly valued in PvP for the last 8 years. This is the first Xpac since MoP where PvPer's don't have to do high end raiding to get *!@# to be competitive. PvE gear should be ILvL 1 in rated PvP it should turn grey and give no stats at all. Idc if they do the same with PvP gear in PvE, but people need to stop acting like the gearing system for PvP has been fine at any point in the past 8 or so years.
i am not a fan of systems were gear scales depending on what content you are doing... one set for all is surely a good thing.
It would be great! I hate it when you enter Arena or RBGs and you are matched against mythic raiders or players who are very good at PvE and geared up the char from the beggining of the season. You can see that they are not as good as you, skill-wise, but it's still almost impossible for you to kill them or not die just because of the big iLvl difference (which in Shadowlands makes all the difference in the world!).P.S. I don't know how many other players have this issue, but Boomkins are the only ones (have no problem with fire mages for example) who keep one-shotting me or my healer even with all deffences up. I don't consider this as being normal..
Dislike this a lot. Pvp gear already have the best stat in pvp, versatility. And it's really nice to be able to just jump into pvp for fun if you otherwise play pve. Then it would also suck to have to carry around two entire sets of gear.

Please do this, I don't care if PvP gear has ilvl 100 outside of PvP, as long as it's properly balanced while doing PvP.
The BIG problem are boosters. Anything else its marginal
add resilience to the pvp gear it keeps mythic raiders and people of higher ilvl from key gear to use the pve gear in it. problem solved! PVP resilience made the most sense. There is no reason that someone in mythic raid gear should be able to beat someone in full PVP gear at any point.
Please no. Increase the ability to get 220 gear from other avenues. This will inherently do a lot to bridge mid season ilvl gaps. PvP gearing feels great atm.
