Yes! Do the same thing for M+ and raid gear too. Have it be base item level 30 lower unless you are in that type of content. This is how the game should be for all sources of gear!
This is dumb just add resilience when encounter in any wm/pvp. Also this will not fix anything like streamers who complain about their money/ making leaching pve carry key dungeons having low ilvl gear drops. Nor it will fix classes who one shot you from stealth.
I don't think we'll have to worry about PvP gear aquisition at the current rate even with this system, it was also easier to come by than high end PvE gear in Wod, makes sense imo. since the biggest factor in PvP should be player skill.I'll welcome this change if it comes, in WoD it even gave me the incentive to grind a PvP Set out simply just for having one, splitting PvP gearing off from PvE will hopefuly also fix those edge cases where a PvE bis item is gated behind rated PvP. (And i don't think it's justifiable for high end PvE players to also PvP at a high ranking, there are only this many hours in a day.)
They could also just fix the PvE gear (trinkets mostly - add proper 1 min CD and 2 min CD trinkets with good ilvls - example is Wakener's Frond <- give this in a 226 version for Ret Pala pls) and fix its aquisition (the randomness makes PvE gearing worse than PvP gearing where you can just point and click the specific loot you want from the vendor). Introducing this new PvP-gear-scaling is just the easy way out for Blizzard. Or in short terms: "PvE players have to use their %^&*ty trinkets again because we make PvP trinkets even more ^&*!ty now outside of PvP through scaling them (down compared to live)".
Please god no. Just let my gear be gear ffs. Why does it matter if i get it from a mythic boss or from 2100 rating or from a dungeon? Just let gear be gear. I don't want to have to cart around an entire extra armor set.
I don't want to have to get different sets of gear for different content. I understand the frustration that PvP is too easy to get gear compared to PvE, but I think that's an issue of PvE gearing being too difficult not in PvP being too easy. It seems they made PvP gearing easier and PvE gearing harder and instead of meeting in the middle they just blew right past each other.This might sound like a wild idea but how about M+ dungeon drops just not be **** compared to the key level you cleared? A 207-210 item is simply not exciting for that level of key (especially since it's an extremely rare chance to get the particular item you even want anyway). I think the dungeons should drop say 6 item levels below what you'd get from the weekly chest for that key level. I know there is an issue of them being 'spammable', but it's not like these dungeons take zero time to do, most players are still going to be able to run only X a week simply due to how much time they have to play.Or you could even say only the first 10 or dungeons you run for a week can drop "premium" loot and all drops afterward for that character will degrade back to the level they are now.
Just bring resilience back (with small adjustments) and.. He just had to sneeze close enough to kill me. x')Or just nerf effectivness of PvE gear in PvP. Like -75% all stats on PvE gear in PvP instance AND PvP fight (for warmode).Or just do the same thing to PvE gear, seems normal. Extremly lower ilvl for PvE gear in PvP.
Omg not this $%^& again. Current system is the best thing about Shadowlands. I can get some pvp pieces, some pve pieces and be good in both pvp and pve. I only need 3 gear sets for my class now, don't make me need another please.

Carrying multiple sets is the most *!@#$%ed idea in wow history. e.g. azerite. PvE and PvP gear will not be separated again. They are in the best states right now in SL, mix and match.
Look at the divide lol. People praising it as their favorite pvp system and others saying this will make them cancel their sub. Keep this in mind for your discussions everyone. People have widely different views on how the game should work and the devs have to try and navigate that.
