I cannot, for the love of my life figure this ability out.
In some runs, staying inside Nullaeus' target circle does not deal ANY damage to you. In most of my runs, that became untrue in P3, after defeating the caster mob, where he consistently hit me with it.
If you run away, you can't dodge it. With monk roll, you only delay the ability for a few seconds. At the smae time, SOMETIMES you can roll far enough to juke the ability. The range? Double jump? Inconsistent, again.
You can get some damage in, when he's trying to cast this spell again, but at one point you'll run out of roll charges and he'll still use this ability, filling your stagger bar completely. And since his melee's are 60+k each, you can't really use two at a time.
So far, in 2.5 hours I found this the most inconsistent boss of every nemesis, solely because of this ability. If anyone has some tips for a BrM monk, lemme know, cause I cannot figure it out. It's literally been 50% hit, 50% miss. Changes for try to try, phase to phase sometimes.
Either make it a fix damage, or a circle like we've seen in the Zek'vir fight.
This isn't a particularly difficult boss, but it really seems inconsistent with his tank buster (that he casts every 15-20seconds)

Heads up, this is for Veng DHs trying to down Nullaeus (?)

This ability hits HARD, it's been designed with double mitigation in mind. A single mitigation will usually make this ability deal 40-50% of your bar in a single hit.

Beat him as an ilvl 261 Vengeance DH, so it was about rotating spikes, brand and meta (the procs come in handy).
Darkness for emergencies.

Curios : Mantle of Stars (shield is useful against the bugs & the knockup is helpful especially when chained with chaos nova) and Overflowing Voidspire (more dps = more heals)

Valeera was level 29.

LAST RESORT IS MANDATORY !

ALWAYS have two mitigations up for this spell, especially late around 15%-20%, and by that time you should've popped drums and ignored the ogre caster.

If I killed him in 10 attempts as a terrible player, so can you !
