"We’ve also heard the feedback that Bloodthirst was not an exciting ability to use and that it felt disconnected from the rest of the Fury kit. To address this, we’re giving Bloodthirst a significant damage boost"

I mean is this real?
Do they even read themselves before posting?

lmfao

please god i beg you just delete SMF and open up 2H to 1H xmog already, no sane warrior takes the talent as it has always been significantly worse than titans grip and you guys keep designing unique OP 2 handers.

Comment by Archimtiros

Outside of Annihilator, which is being removed, it absolutely is. It was regulated to an unglorified filler in both Shadowlands and early Dragonflight - only gaining any value with the Season 2/4 tier bonus (which uses it only sparingly) and the S3 bonus (with Annihilator).

Comment by Trotty

To address this, we’re giving Bloodthirst a significant damage boost as well as adjusting several talents to affect Bloodthirst that did not previously, and adding new functionality with Deft Experience causing Bloodthirst to extend your current Enrage

it's also as if you continue reading the sentence they expand and explain that it isnt just a damage buff.

Comment by Odraccir

We've heard you guys don't like pressing that button so we'll force you to press it by increasing the damage.

Comment by Elseworlds

Reading comprehension for some people is terrible.

Comment by Nathazar

problem is no matter how you slice it there can't be 2 main filler buttons. adding more things to track and scenarios where it might be better to press one over the other really takes away the class fantasy to me at least. bloodthirst should just be merged with onslaught or made to be another compelling button with a longer cd.

Can they give single mimded fury a reason to exist?

Comment by Humtol

kinda sad that the warrior devs dont have the balls to do big changes like the mages for example. Always these small nerfs and buffs to make it better, but not actually fixing the real issues.

"We saw people not using abilities they dont like. So we're trying to make players use the stuff they hate"

Comment by ExtremelyCrusty

I really wish annihilator wasn't being removed. Spamming Raging Blow got old very quickly.

Comment by Thorvas

ugh I hate cleave. My bars are already so bloated

There absolutely can be, BFA is a great example of where it worked quite well. Fondly remembered playstyle

I'd rather they just make it not exist and make it a mog only option. It will never be interesting and it will never be better.

Annihalator made bloodthirst important and made the spec fun with some depth while keeping the fury buttom spam active. It just gave us more buttons to press.

I was thinking of swapping to fury this xpac but not so much anymore

Comment by selkiesidhe

Am I the only one who hates... like, HATESSSSSS... spin to win and won't use it? Its horrid as a barbarian and its horrible as a warrior. Hard pass.

I dig the changes to bloodthirst though. I may not be a warr main but I get thirsty sometimes too

Buff SMF!

I'm running it with an annihilator build. At 480 ilvl I deal 250k on single target boss fights, but if I swap to a Titan's Grip build I'm getting 10% more.

except it was the same priority system its been for a while, bloodthirst was used only to make sure you didn't run out of raging blow charges not because it did damage or was impactful it was the fillers filler.

You must've played BFA for a season then quit. The highest damage ability we had was Bloodthirst with 3 stacks of Cold Steel, Hot Blood. Season 4 with corruption got to play into that really hard too.

Totally. Fury was awesome in BFA and it's struggled to get back to that high point.

What I really want to know is: back in Dragonflight Alpha, there was an ability that turned Heroic Leap into Gorefiend's Grasp. It was removed for infringing in DK Utility, but warriors were told we would get a new talent during Dragonflight to add back some utility into our kit.

It's been two years. Where is it?
