Renow farm. It take 2days to get to lvl 48 lol what farm there was tough. As for the kick if not skip i think its a good thing. But make the serpent way more hard now
"earn Renown much faster than intended" - I thought that's why Renown is already time-gated and that the Renown catchup system is designed to allow exactly that: a fast catchup to the current Renown level. Why does the system have to be designed so rigidly to try and control the player's every actions just to fit the game designer's philosophy (or rather the management's intention to milk out another monthly subscription). Why is a catchup system meant to be slow? Time to play has become rather scarce for me (as I imagine is the case for about 70% of the player base) and the implementation of slowed down catchup systems really gnaws on the motivation to switch to alts or try out new covenants, which for some reason has been a thorn in the eye of the devs from the get-go.Since I've seen some people complain about forced skips: I have already leveled 9 Characters to lvl 60 (and geared 7 of them to at least heroic dungeon itemlevel) and throughout the last 5-6 months I've never encountered a group where I was being forced to comply and skip bosses in Plaguefall. When I told them I wanted to get gear and clear the dungeon, they simply complied and we killed all of the bosses just for my greedy ass. I wonder how many people have had the same (positive) experience as I have.Well, and then there's the issue about the slime serpent mount...
I was in a Plaguefall not four hours ago with a DH tank that had 72k HP. He said we were skipping and if we didn't like it tough (only with much more colorful terms) he was the tank. When I pointed out it was patched he said he had to bio and as soon as the timer to avoid getting the debuff was up, he left the group. Made us wait that amount of time instead of just leaving or asking us to kick him. I ended up getting gear off the second boss that has been helpful.
Nice. Was trying to get a few more Exp and some group started a fight before I could get in. Once I had gotten in, they was already on 3rd boss. I couldn't make it to them in time since they had skipped mobs. Leader said to hurry up or wait. So I waited.. they beaten the final boss and disbanded..Sure I got the Dungeon Finder Exp bonus but I was hoping to get the rest since that wasn't enough to level up. So glad they did this (even if others are upset by it)
I actually like this change, i've heard of so many people getting kicked from groups for wanting to actually kill the bosses.. 10/10 change

Blast. I just discovered it this week. Oh well. though, I may not like the results I admire the hustle. The first boss invites skipping. That boss room is designed like a Legend of Zelda dungeon. If you are fast enough you can run in and out. After that it makes sense to see where else you can avoid a fight. I'd have fixed it by putting up a slime wall. It goes down when the boss goes down.
As for soloing this dungeon im sure the last boss would be a cake walk but doctor ickus is impossible to beat, his slime injection is a stacking magic type that as a demon hunter i cannot dispell. Every boss is easy the first boss being only time consuming. Tried ickus with full buffed tank spec he had like 140-200k hp left while the 6-7stack debuff kills me. And with dps spec he just kills you with auto attack in 10 seconds even with 15% leech (35 in metamorph). Wish there was a %^&*ing potion to dispell magic effects like in tbc so it wouldn't be that impossible to beat. Pls blizzard fix this.
