Best Restoration Shaman Raid Talent Builds

As , Earthliving Weapon and Healing Rain represent a big portion of your healing. We focus on all the Chain Heal talents as the spell is the most important component of your kit, but we move away from talents that increase the healing of Riptide and instead opt into Downpour.

This is the core of the build. These talents are all very good and there is very little or no reason to move them.
Improved Earthliving Weapon is a good talent for even if you are not casting Healing Wave a lot. Primal Catalyst makes Earthliving Weapon represent a high portion of your healing so the increase in mastery value works in your favor.
There are several ways to pick your final points the the bottom of the tree. This is the recommended because it fits very well with the rest of the build. Going for Wavespeaker's Blessing instead of Earthen Harmony to reach Deeply Rooted Elements can be a small gain, but you need to get a second talent point from somewhere else. While all the options are relatively low value and you can move them around as needed this ends up being the simplest way to reach all the points you need and complement them well.

Downpour is a very strong spell and it allows you to do aoe healing on demand for a lower mana cost than Chain Heal, but it does require you to use it properly and not miss casts of it. For situations where mana is not an issue or you can't use Downpour effectively, you can opt into more passive effects that boost your overall healing instead.

Most of the base shaman kit is stronger as due to Maelstrom Supremacy and Elemental Reverb, so the focus of the build is empowering Riptide and Chain Heal as much as possible. Healing Rain is still an important cast and grabbing Soothing Rain and Overflowing Shores makes the spell much easier to fit into your gameplay without feeling too disruptive.

The healing rain talents are the easiest way to path to Rip Current. They increase the quality of life of Healing Rain by a huge amount and are still decent enough healing increases compared to the alternatives. You can opt to path via Ancestral Vigor instead but you need to find an extra point as doing this costs three points instead of two.
Echo of the Elements can be a bit redundant for as Elemental Reverb already gives an extra charge of Riptide but this is a good mix of giving you room to make mistakes without losing out on more Riptides and also Tidewaters being a decent healing increase that also synergises well with the rest of the build. These are the two points that you would move if you are looking to make changes as they are the lowest value ones.

This profile can fit very well on certain dungeons were rot damage is more prevalent, but the lower priority healing can affect you negatively when spot healing is needed more. Another advantage of is the access to a stronger Acid Rain so your passive damage over a key will be much higher.

This is the core of the build. These talents are all very good and there is very little or no reason to move them.
The extra Healing Rain talents are good passive increases and make it easier to get value out of Surging Totem, but they aren't mandatory and can be moved around if needed. You might want to get Ancestral Vigor instead if you are constantly facing high burst where more health can keep people alive, or pick Current Control and Crashing Waves to improve your spot healing.
Torrent and Improved Earthliving Weapon are good increases to your spot healing but are not very high value points, these can be moved into Earthweaver if you want a bit more priority target healing on your Earth Shield targets or Calm Waters if you find yourself having mana issues.

Healing Rain is still a powerful spell in M+ but it is a bit conditional. If you can keep a majority of the group inside of it when healing is needed then it will get very good value and lets you benefit from both Deluge and Flow of the Tides fully at the same time. Soothing Rain and Overflowing Shores make our lives much easier in regards to casting it and keeping people inside of it but its important to be proactive when thinking where you are dropping rain to avoid the group moving out of it very quickly after you finish the cast.

The healing rain talents are a very nice quality of life increase that also boost your healing. You can opt out of them without losing too much but if you still want Rip Current you will need to path through Current Control.
Ancestral Vigor can be incredibly good or almost useless depending on how often your party members are dropping to very low health levels. If you find yourself mostly doing a consistent amount of healing rather than having to deal with sudden burst, then you can move these points into other options like Earthweaver, Current Control and Crashing Waves, or even Acid Rain.

When keeping the group inside of Healing Rain is simply not possible you can opt out of the spell entirely. This lets you grab other good talents like Ancestral Vigor instead. You do have to remember that the maximum jump distance for Chain Heal is 20 yards so if you are finding it impossible to keep people inside of Healing Rain there is a good chance you will find problems doing any kind of aoe healing.

When none of the Healing Rain talents are an option we are much more open to picking what we want from the first part of the tree. This is the recommended set up but Improved Earthliving Weapon could be used instead of Earthweaver if you prefer a slight overall healing increase rather than one focused only on your Earth Shield targets.

Nice rogue talents for farseer M+ build

Seems like these builds are outdated or not reflecting on what shammies actually play - as almost no one seems to progress the raid as Farseer, and almost no one plays Downpour with on totemic.
