The Wetlands is a GREAT place to find Kingsblood as well as Liferoot. Both fetch a nice price per stack at the AH

this stuff seems to be most common on flat grassy terrain. Exceptions exist, mostly in STV.

STV is a sucky place to grind for this herb. these are possible spawns, and most seems to be already corrupted by higher level herbs. Tried Swamp of Sorrows too (went here cause of wow-europes herbalism levling guide) , and it was just tragic... one herb found. Warning for these two places.

I also followed the path in the guide, and i had found near each kings blood was a wild steel bloom. not real useful if your just looking for kingsblood, but if your looking for herbs for AH, i would recommend following the path.

If you want to level up your inscription, follow that path.

Its not always kingsblood, but you get a lot of goldthorn and that's what you need after kingsblood a lot. Also a lot of Khadgar's Whisker, what you also can use later on.

I disagree, the best path for Herbing in STV is on such a small path, I'm not sure why you couldn't find anything.

He said KINGSBLOOD, not "herbs in general" Some quests and recipies specificly require Kingsblood. In particular Thorium Brotherhood can use quite large quantities of the stuff in rep grinding.

If like me you where after just kingsblood, or the poster in question then Wetlands is where you want to be.

you can find many of them in western plaguelands.
if you want them for milling you can find many liferoot as well.

A very good place to level your herblism is Arathi Hignlands after you reach 125. Wetland has many Briarthorn, which is good for leveling before 125, and Liferoot, which is not viable if you dont reach 150 in Herblism. So I strongly recommend Arathi.

As of patch 4.2, if you are on the quest Bwemba's Spirit (the one with the spirit ghost following you around), as long as the spirit is following you, no herbs show up on the minimap nor on the ground.

no matter what other people say, I found kingsblood just about everywhere in Northern Stranglethorn! Almost any herb I found there was indeed, kingsblood.

I thought I would give Arathi Highlands a shot, since I also needed Iron Ore, Mithril, Goldthorn, and Wild Steelbloom. Sort of figured Arathi would be a "one-stop shop" as it were.

Well, everything popped decently (not a lot of nodes in arathi, but a lot of variety) EXCEPT Kingsblood. It was like Khorium. In about 1 hour or so, I had reasonable amounts of other herbs and ore, but only TWO (2) kingsblood nodes popped for me.

Two in one hour? Maybe the game didn't like me that day, but Arathi Highlands was not a good place to farm Kingsblood.

Just a heads up.

As of patch 3.3.5 there's none in Western Plaguelands. Do not even bother! Northern Stranglethorn is the one you should go to!

I jumped on my herbalist and decided to time different zones and different routes in order to get the most amount of herbs. Keep in mind I am a HORDE DRUID, and flight/aquatic form helps out drastically with picking herbs. There are other items you can obtain through herbalism, however I'll be just stating the main herbs.

Each zone was timed for 10 minutes.

In case you are wondering, your herbalism has to be 115 to gather actual Kingsblood and not just petals.
