Just killed him south of the burial fields, from what I could tell he didn't have much of a patrol route (he basically walks back and forth in one spot). Two of us killed him (ungrouped) and we both received the mount. *I believe this is not his only spawn point.

So far I haven't seen this guy anywhere at the reported paths and spawn points. Unlike most rare spawns, he doesn't seem to have the super-quick respawn rate the other mobs do.

Okay, some information that is useful for you guys who are still looking for your Swift Breezestrider from Pathrunner! :)

I just got into a raid with almost all of Shadowmoon Valley to find this guy, 50ish people! We were all randoms, but it was so much fun as we split up and all camped the spawn points we read about here and some other sites. He spawned TWO TIMES - SOUTH of Burial Grounds, within 30-40 minute time frame! I was shocked as right after we killed him the first time it was 1:06, I looked at the clock again when he was called out by a few in chat who killed him and I asked them for the location, they said the exact same spot - South of Burial Grounds around all the elekks on the grassy spot, literally just south. This was at 1:34.

The bad news for us was a random person who wasn't in the group killed him while we were waiting on the other half to get to us patiently! (surprisingly yes everyone in the raid was very generous and thoughtful, the person was probably clueless as to what we were doing waiting even lol, but we tagged him just for loot anyway, not much else we could do)

GOOD NEWS : You all can loot it while in group, even raid group so feel free to raid with your server!

Got this guy today about an hour and a half after he was reportedly last killed. Unfortunately one of the members in my group refused to be nice and let other people show up before trying to kill it , and then would not stop killing it. ^&*!@#$.

Anyways, I'm a night elf, and I got on this mount - it is NOWHERE NEAR as big as the screenshot shows. Not sure if thats a gnome/dwarf or something, but my night elf is just as tall as it.

Killed him on Deathwing (EU) 1½ hour ago.

He was wandering around at the 56.0, 52,6 area (which is also marked on the map above) I went there 1 hour before, but couldn't find him at any of the 3 spots where people seem to have found him so far.

Just a small warning, i decided to head here at level 94 to scout for the mount boss and found it at 43,32. So i decided to tell people in general it was up and whisper me to kill it. Then when i invited a level 100, i phased and all the mobs changed and i couldn't see it anymore, even when i left the group i didn't phase back, so don't invite people if you're not level 100!

Please note: This is pure speculation.

Since launch, this mob seems to become more and more rare to spot. Personally, it took a few days for me to get to lvl 100, due to lag, so i didnt get to camp this rare untill a few days later. For some reason, im starting to think that you have to "do something" to make it spawn. He might be triggered by something, thinking about the fact that he seemed to spawn more often when there was more people questing here. Again, this is pure speculation, feel free to share your thoughts.

I would also like to add that ive been camping him in groups for 2 days (24h+ camped) We covered the 3 confirmed places Pathrunner has been seen (the two shown on the map + the spawn abit down from Burial Fields. None of us ever saw him, wich gives me more of a reason to assume hes triggered by something. I see alot of people commenting on how fast they have seen him spawn, wich is not the case as of now it seems.

Last night I hunted 5/6 Rare Spawn Mounts in a 40man Group with the LFG tool. I made a reddit post and answered a few questions in the comments.

My group found 2 Gorok spawns after 2 hours of starting to camp and again 7 hours later. 1 silthide spawn after about 8 hours of camping, 1 Pathrunner spawn after 12 hours of camping, and 1 Nakk and Luk spawn both after 14+ hours. No luck on poundfist.

So i've been searching for Pathrunner for several hours and with several people, and none of us have been able to find ANY sign of him. Can anyone give tips on where to find him, we've basically done an entire sweep of the whole map.

Just killed Pathrunner at the 56.6, 52.2 location literally 30 minutes ago, and within 10 minutes of killing him, Luk'hok spawned in Nagrand at 67.3, 43.8. I'm very much curious to know if all six of these rares are tied to one another in spawn times. I love the mystery behind these spawns haha.

Killed today EU-Moonglade @ 13:45pm servertime, spawned at 44,43 South of Embaari Village. Dropped the mount. it's awesome :D

Killed early this morning at 56, 52 on Ravenholdt. Spawned exactly at 2:00 a.m. server time, or 3:00 a.m. EST. Had a raid group camping all sevenish known spawn locations, staggered in a ring around the center marsh. Camped for approximately six hours.

All reported kills on Ravenholdt have happened between 1:40 a.m. and 2:00 a.m.

Pathrunner does not have a patrol route. Instead, he just wanders around the area he spawned.

He does drop a mount for everyone who tags him, even in a raid group.

Down on Drenden Server. 8:59p.m. EST. Was at location North of nightmarsh, west of the little cave. Was pulled by somebody not in my raid group and I discovered him at 70%.

Pathrunner finally showed up! Found at the northern spawn, (42,32) area above Embaari Village. Time found was 5:54 a.m. and it died by 6:31 a.m. Thrall-US server.

PR does patrol around, more like in a small circle it seemed than anything. Did not stray far from what I noticed. Remember to be courteous and don't zerg these rares down. Give others a chance to get there and tag. Everyone will still get their mount even if you wait!

Pathrunner kills on WrA at 4am 19 Nov 2014. Through coordination and a great many rapid fire messages we were able to pull in as many as possible to get a hit on this beast for the mount. Thanks to everyone involved for keeping a cool head and following directions. Special thanks to Rynov for being Johnny on the Spot with his S Embarri call out.

That being said one of our numbers did not get to loot their mount as they were DC-ed before getting to loot it.
Khaxus - Wyrmrest Accord. Hopefully GMs can get this player hooked up with their rightful loot.

Killed him today on the Realm The Sha'tar at 8:20 pm at location coordinates 44.6 - 43.8 (located on the map above) was camping with a group of 15 i can confirm that he does only drop the mount nothing else but out of all 15 of us that got the tag only 7 of us got the mount which i find very strange.

Zul'jin @ 4:44am (EST; few mins ago) spawned and looted @ 44,32. Had a person to cover each spawn location. Hope this helps someone :D will be posting screenshot.

Finally got him. Big props to everyone in the raid group I was in, the patience! It spawned at around 2:45AM. He does indeed patrol back and fourth in a very small location (around 20-30 yards is as far as he goes). So further proof of the North East/Elodor Fields spawn :)

Twenty odd minutes before shutdown on the 21st of November (3h shutdown that began at 5am PST), I was told he was up on the Thaurissan server (I play on Khaz'goroth/Dath'remar Oceanic) at south Burial Grounds spawn. I've yet to see a screenshot of that spawn, so here you go!

Thankfully, there wasn't any people around to LEDELEDELEDEEEE facepull and mess up everyone, so 20 odd people got their mounts, screenshot submitted without my UI lol.

I just got my mount today and I'm so happy!
I queued for a group camping Pathrunner in premade groups and we were 4 people. I was at the spawn point near Eledor and the guy who was near The Burial Fields announced that Pathrunner spawned! Obviously that was quite a way to go for me and he said it had been attacked too so I tried my very best to get there fast!
A tip for everyone else who's camping it with groups and need to run fast to the spawn point, get Spirit of Shinri , it helped me get there fast enough to get a hit! It's definitely a good item to have in bag when camping this rare :)

On KT server, word was that Pathrunner was killed at 9:36 server time this morning, and he just spawned again at 4:10 server time. Sadly, someone not in our raid group tagged and killed, and only a few of us that were close were able to tag the rare for the mount.

I strongly suggest using _npcscan and manually entering Pathrunner's id (50883). I think I was the only one in the area that had _npcscan--had more players had the addon, things might have been different for those who didn't get to tag.

I was in a Pathrunner camping group for like 4 hours. So when it finally spawned there where allies attacking it. Without the Spirit of shirni item i would have never made it intime. Got a hit in at 6%.

So all that are camping Pathrunner i advise you to kill the rare elite called Shirni to get this item, it might save you a tag :)

Finally downed this little number after 13 1/2 hours, on top of the sporadic hours of camping since launch. Downed him at (56.0, 52.6), southeast of the temple. I was in a raid group of about 20 people, covering each spot with at least two people to ensure no near misses/problems.

*******I don't care for upvotes but I hope this does get upped because until this gets fixed, if you're a mount collector these are some things to consider before attempting to farm new rares and their respective mounts.*******

I plan on adding this to all of the rare spawns that drop mounts in WoD as it is quite important when it comes to get getting the mount without some extra headache or at least you can go into it knowing what to expect. Some things may be specific to my realm(Arthas) but my guess is they're applicable to most realms.

(Note*: I know a good amount of this information is specific to the Nagrand rares but I can almost guarantee the same thing will happen with trying to farm the mounts in the other zones. Highly doubt, just Nagrand is instanced, and should consider this information/examples for whatever zone you're in.)

So I'm not sure if anyone has noticed but there are separate instances/phases of zones now, I'm not sure if this is specific to high population realms but my realm seems to have two instances(maybe more, at least two) for Nagrand. I feel like this might be more of a high population occurrence, to aid with all the lag/server crashing that the expansion had brought, but that can't be confirmed. The instancing itself reminds me a lot of the cross-realm party feature yet obviously this is happening within the realm. These two instances seemingly are two completely different/unrelated phases of Nagrand. Simply put on one phase of Nagrand, for example, Luk'Hok could be alive but on the other he may still be on respawn, so if you're not lucky enough to be in the phase Luk'Hok is on, you will miss out on the mount unless invited by someone on the phase with Luk'Hok; he will just be invisible to you otherwise along with all of those people who are getting the kill. Something else I've noticed is that these phases don't seem to share respawn timers. The approximate timer for Nakk from a solid amount of sources is about 19-30 hrs and I'm starting to think Luk'Hok is about the same.

Yesterday Luk'Hok spawned at 6:25am server time(Calling this Phase 1 Luk'Hok of Nagrand), and then only 6 hours later at approximately 1pm server time(Calling this Phase 2 Luk'Hok of Nagrand). His next spawn was not until about 30 minutes ago at 5:30 am server time which fits perfectly into the range of the phase 1 time about 23 hours later. I know people who are still camping the rares and will update this post if Luk'Hok proceeds to spawn in about the next 5-6 hours as that would fit perfectly into the Phase 2 respawn timer.

This same occurrence happened with Nakk the Thunderer and seems to reveal the same exact thing, even more apparent than Luk'Hok. After maintenance on 11/21/14 Nakk spawned about 22 and a half hours after realms went back up at 6:35am(10 minutes after Phase 1 Luk'Hok mentioned above, I might add, which suggests that maintenance resets their timers). I got the kill and went to bed, I knew a few guildies that were questing in Nagrand that morning and told me later that night Nakk spawned at approximately 8am server time, just an hour and a half after my kill. This almost completely justifies the multiple instances having different spawns of rares as there's been no report on Nakk having anywhere close to that short of a respawn time anywhere.

These are the first four spawns and times after maintenance on the above date in Nagrand:Luk'Hok spawns at 6:25am(19 hours and 25 minutes after maintenance) Nakk spawns at 6:35am(19 hours and 35 minutes after maintenance), Nakk spawns at ~8am(24 hours after maintenance), Luk'Hok spawns at 1pm(29 hours after maintenance).

Since Luk'Hok last spawning at 1pm server time, yesterday, there had been no spawns til 5:30am this morning(11/23/14). Four spawns between a 6 hour time frame then no spawns of either rare until 17 hours later jumps out at me as a little odd.

I've since submitted a ticket to see if this is the case and to be honest I hope it gets fixed. People who camp all night for these rares should not be affected by these phases. The instancing of these special rares needs to be universal to all phases of said zone. I'm thankful Blizzard added the instances as it's vastly improved server stability but I think this was just kind of an unexpected side effect they didn't foresee.

TL;DR
What we know(can pretty safely assume)

-Different instances of zones have separate rare spawns and respawn times

-If you're not in the correct phase you won't be able to see the rare spawn

-Being invited to the right phase will allow you to get in on the kill

-If you miss loot, whether due to phasing issues or whatever, it will be mailed to you(happened to me, corpse insta-despawned but it was in my mail)

Rumors about the instancing is that they're separated by whether or not you're in a group/raid or if you're solo, yet I have seen this disproved and can confirm that it's not true yet out of about 6 kills, this rumor happened to be the truth 5 of the 6 times this happened to be true and the only exception was that people that were solo had just left their group, but not before the pull was initiated, but take that as you will, just a rumor.

Since his spawn timer is so iffy right now... I thought I would post this!(: I had a camp group going and he spawned around 6:47 a.m. (I sadly didn't get the tag, there was an opposing faction group.) After I ate my thanksgiving dinner I decided to pick it back up, we sat there for 3 hours and he spawned around 10:43 p.m. So, that's around a 16 hour time on him - unless he was killed prior. And yes, this was all on my server (Bladefist), both kills(: First kill was located at (43, 41) second kill was located at (54, 31) I hope this helps someone!:D

I have been camping him on Silvermoon, first day he spawned around 3:22 AM server time @45.8, 68.2 (after server restart around 9 AM). Missed kill as I was camping alone and he got killed before I could reach the spot. He was killed at 5:18 Server time previous day (my friend killed it at this time @43, 31.6). Next day, he spawned at 3:09 AM @44.6 43.8 which i missed again (do not know if there were any kills in between). Another of my friend killed him at 3:00 PM server same day. He was spawned again at 00:02 AM; cant confirm this one as I was told this when I was camping. So I moved to Bloodfeather and got my kill at 5:12 AM @45.8, 68.2.

Note: All timings are on server time and sorry for bad grammar.

Just got this wonderful mount tonight - FYI, adding his NPC number to the current version of NPCScan *does* work! I was camping him for hours on two accounts, and then ran a dungeon... my other character logged out from inactivity, and as soon as he logged back in, there he was! Was so happy!

Of course someone tried to kill him, but a lot of yelling made him stop and a few people in my guild arrived to also get him. :D

People have been talking about a possible 20-40 hours timer after last kill or server reset, but I can at least dismistify the 20h minimum. I was camping him for over 10 hours on sunday until I decided to check the other spawn points just to return to my original spot and to find 2 level 91s riding the mount. They told me they had killed him just 4 minutes ago, this was at 19:00.

Next day I return at 14:50 to start camping him and ask in the general channel if anyone wants to join me, only to receive a reply of someone that told me they had killed him at 14:00, so 19 hours after his previous death.

Update: Logged back at 7:30 in the morning and he spawned at 8:50 so again, less than 20 hours.

On the Uldum server, Pathrunner's spawn looks to be about 12 to 19 hours. 7 hours to kill and being the right place at the right time. Like everyone said here, make sure you use the item you get from killing Shinri to help to Pathrunner as fast as possible if someone says he has spawned in General chat.

so funny thing was camping the spot above embaari village , looking on wowhead just checking out the time span and where else he spawns when my npc goes off and PATHRUNNER is next to me - my heart is going super fast hoping no one is around since its an ally area so pop everything to pertect me and got the mount. super excited i got this guy and didnt have to wait to long ! gl to everyone who wants him hes super awesome. happy camping! killed him on kiljaden around 12:57 at night

If you plan to solo camp Pathrunner by sitting in one spot, I recommend NOT waiting at the southern most spawn-point.

The rare Yggdrel constantly sets off NPC Scan. It's very annoying if you're tabbed out of the game (which people often do when camping rares because it's just so dang exciting). Of course you can just solo Yggdrel so he doesn't set off your scanner... Go ahead, he's only lvl 91.

44.60, 43.80 is a good central location to camp Pathfinder. Especially if you're regularly checking Group Finder—A more central location will give you a better chance to get to him before he's killed. Just watch out for the Alliance camp, if you're Horde. It seems like Blizz made sure to put an Alliance camp strategically between each of Pathrunner's spawn points. I can't tell you how many times I've been flagged running from point to point in a straight line.

Was running around questing and happened across this rare completely by accident on a hunter. When I tried to tame of course it wouldn't let me so I killed it. Soloed on a 91 Night Elf Hunter so not terribly hard.

Solo'ed today at 6:48am (server time) on Earthen Ring-US (RP) with a lvl 91 monk just north-west of Embaari Village (a little to the south of the spot where the wolves are eating the corpse of an elekk). Spent almost 20 mins calling out it had spawned on General chat before I killed it, but got no reply so... yeah. Oh well. :)

So... i was in my garrison when i suddenly saw Falling Flame in my bag. Then i tried to see if it could be used in Draenor, and it could... before i landed i used the hunter ability disengage, so i didn't die and surprisingly i saw Pathrunner just a few feets distance from me! I saw some other people tagging it so i started to do so. Without any camp i got the mount! :)

Let me start by saying that after chasing this mount for 3 days and FINALLY finding him, killing him etc..., solo, he DID NOT drop the mount. I got the term "EMPTY SLOT" and VEM said I did not have permission to do that. What the heck is up with that?

Seems to me that if you are going to say it has a 100% drop rate then it damn should have dropped. Of course I put in a ticket but don't expect anything from that.

So very disappointed with this game and not sure I want to waste yet another 3 days chasing something that quite obviously does not exist.

I was just skipping around on my guardian druid through Shadowmoon Valley and suddenly I saw a bigger Talbuk. The talbuk was surrounded by smaller ones. I noticed one difference on this bigger Talbuk and that was his name and the silver dragon around his unitframe.

My guardian druid is/was level 92. I decided to give it a shot and try to kill the Talbuk with 539K HP. After simply hitting him all by myself for about 5 minutes, he was dead. I looted him and I suddenly noticed the mount. I was very surprised... I had no clue that the big, brown talbuk was actually Pathrunner.

Talk about dumb luck...

Happened to run across Pathrunner randomly at 56.2, 52.3 closest to the Draakorium flight path and just north of the quest to kill the talbuk Maa'run. There wasn't much interest in acquiring a free mount in general chat. Only 6 people ended up killing him. Everyone seems to want Poundfist, but Pathrunner is great and much easier to explain in RP, if you happen to be on a roleplaying server, as I am. Went on a rare hunt this morning and after finding two rares in Nagrand with mount drops, went to find Pathrunner.

Luckily I found him south of Burial Grounds on his own walking on the spot, made a group of around twenty and killed him around 7:30 on Burning Legion EU Realm.

I had been looking for him for a few days for a few hours each and I got lucky this morning. When I logged on he was near the stair for the raise near the burial grounds. I was able to get 8 guild mats to join me in the kill so we all got our mounts . It was 11.25am realm time Gileans -elune . Happy hunting and if you find it be sure to share the kill ! ^.^ soullove

Just solo'd as a level 91 BM hunter with the crafted WoD gun. Found him East of Embaari Village. Had no idea this guy dropped a mount or else I would've gathered more people for it...

I was running through SM to meet a friend of mine when I ran past a massive Talbuk that I had to show to my friend, I always make a point of killing any NPC with a name, but this time I left it so I could get to where my friend was and move on. I later discovered that Pathrunner is a rare NPC with a 100% mount drop. You can imagine my disdain. The one time I decide to leave a NPC alone ... I've searched every spawn point again and again, not seen it since.

I stumbled across this rare today while leveling my level 93 arcane mage, but I didn't know at the time that it was one of the ultra rare mobs in Draenor, so I proceeded to kill it alone. I succeeded so you can rest assured that if a level 93 mage can kill this mob, you probably can too, but don't be like me and assume its just another rare, try to see if anyone in general chat wants to help kill it for the mount.

Anyway, I don't know the coordinates of where I found him, but if you were to draw a line southwest from elodor, and a line directly west from the elodor flightmaster, theres a forest where they intersect. That's where I found him wandering around near some wolves and other talbuks. Good luck and good hunting.

Went to look for this guy, went to each of the spawn points on the map above and went back towards the one above Socrethar's Rise and I seen Demidos so I went and killed him then I seen Pathrunner spawned. Was looking for him for about 15 minutes total.

Ok, since there seems to be some confusion. No you don't have to add him to your npcscan that's only if you want it to appear on your map otherwise it will still alert you if you see him. Got an alert randomly when I was flying from embari village and the alert went off so I freaked, knowing how rare he is, and tried getting off as fast as possible. Even though I'm on a full pop server no one was there. Good luck all and if you do find him don't try to kill him instantly tell people first, you get it even if you just tag him so tell your guildies!

A quick note on this and the other Draenor mount dropping rares: If you are in a group that has tagged it, you don't need to actually hit it yourself in order to get the mount provided you are close to it when it dies.

This is important because what often happens is that if just one person attacks it, this results in panic as everyone else scrambles to get a hit in before it dies, and inevitably this leads to a rapid death for the rare, and a lot of tears of people who could not make in time.

I have confirmed this with two rare kills. The first was when I got Pathrunner. I didn't intend to not hit it, but it died so fast that I actually couldn't get a hit in on time - or at least that is what recount told me, but I still got loot.

Several weeks later I was in Nagrand and found Luk'hok, whom I had already killed. So after using the group finder to get 39 other people to the kill, I purposefully made sure to not attack at all, and I still got a (second) mount, thus confirming my theory.

Downed him on The Maelstrom-EU around 21:10 PM, i wasn't able to help others, since i was in a realm hopping group (was actually looking for voidtalon), and then some $%^&*! started attacking it and killed it.

Finally found pathrunner today around 11:00CST (12:00 noon, EST). He was near 56.2, 54.6, surprisingly. I was expecting to find him at the northern or southern most points that he is known for - I was running back over to try the gara lantern quest, and figured I would run that route for the hell of it. There he was. I might have squeaked.

Soooo... I was just running around on my lvl 91 frost mage trying to do my routinely leveling the way I normally do, and I see a rare that I haven't seen before. go up to it, has a lot of health... but went for it anyways, solo killed it, it dropped a mount... huh... looked it up on here and didn't even realize it was a rare elite and didn't know it even existed! thanks Blizz =D also made my 200/200 for Mount Parade as well haha XD

I get this mount in less than 10 minutes.
Easy way to get this mount:
1. Download addons: NPC Scan, Server Hop
2. Add Pathrunner's ID to your NPC scan; id: 50883
3. Go to one of the rare spawn places.
4. Use Server hop addon until you find Rare

Was just doing some regular training quests in Shadowmoon Valley. On my 92 druid. NPC scan notified me that Pathrunner was nearby just at the moment when I died because of an mob. Quickly respawning and going the most south spawnpoint, also the place where I died. I just saw him walking slowly. 500k+ hp no problem 1v1 is possible. Pretty cool mount

Camping WoD Rares with Draenor Pathfinder (7.0.3 and beyond)

Before I begin, I'd like to make it known that realm-hopping was nerfed in this patch. If you were hoping to use addons like Server Hop, they will not work. You are no longer phased into the group leader's version of the world. You are only phased once in the zone they're in. Realm hopping has been sentenced to the graveyard of once workable camping methods, and this means you must camp like the old days: sitting and waiting.

Hopefully you bring snacks, reading material, Netflix, and whole lot of patience. And hopefully, you can fly in Draenor.

Pathrunner
1) Addons:
- If you don't already have it, you should definitely install _NPCScan.
- The addon HandyNotes paired with HandyNotes_DraenorTreasures is a huge helper for hunting any rare, as the spawn points show up as colored skulls on the minimap.
- I would also suggest the addon Routes, as it allows you to draw out a point-to-point lined path on your map, which also shows up on the minimap. If you plan to fly from point to point, All you have to do is follow the line, and you don't have to keep referring to the map to make sure you're still on course. An alternative to this is TomTom, which you can use to set waypoints, which will guide you with a green arrow. I prefer Routes as I don't have to constantly reset the line and it always stays on my map, whereas with TomTom, I have to reset the waypoints once I've hit them all, but it's all about preference and what you're used to.

2) The pre-camp:
Clear the entire spawn point area of your target super-rare of all other lower-level silver-portrait vignette mobs. Assuming you have _NPCScan installed (and you should), the purpose of this is to make sure these lower-level rares will never trigger your _NPCScan alert again. Once you kill those rares once, they're "already defeated," and become "normal mobs" to you once you've looted them on first kill, as they no longer produce rare loot for you anymore, and their vignette will not appear ever again.
Be warned that if you choose not to stop and do this, your addon will go off constantly, and defeats the purpose of what you're using it for. You want the alert to happen only when the mob you want spawns so that you're not having that heart attack over nothing. If you've already been through here and killed them all before, you won't need to worry about this.
(Yes, I've tested this myself)

3) Picking a "camp":
This can be tricky, because like the other mount-dropping rares in Draenor, Pathrunner has spawns spread out all over the Shadowmoon Valley map. However, unlike its other rare cousins, Pathrunner has one spot on the map that covers two different spawn points at once. These are at 39.6, 37.0 and 43.0, 31.6. The road that splits between these two points is a great spot to hover over if you plan to actually sit and camp, as both spawn points are in range of you on the minimap.

With that said, having flying makes this all much easier to manage, because this means you'll be able to fly from point to point, rather than take flight paths or run on ground. Hunting rares in Draenor is one of the huge perks to being able to fly on the continent, and it should be some decent motivating to getting your Pathfinder achievement complete.

I highly recommend flying from point to point if possible, rather than sitting on one camp spot. If you miss a spawn in one of the other points, don't guarantee for others to be considerate and/or compassionate enough to notify you if they're in the area, not to mention the cross-faction competition.

Pathrunner's southern spawn is also close to the many spawns of Edge of Reality. Make a sweeping check for those if you're willing to risk the time for it.

4) Etiquette:
Although Draenor is still a little vacant compared to back then, there are still people camping the spawns that you will see thanks to CRZ implementation. If you spot the spawn before others, be kind and notify the zone. They are not your competitors, as everyone who hits the mob gets loot. There is no reason not to tell others if this is true, other than to just be selfish. Make sure to tag it, but don't kill it before others get a chance.

With that said, if someone does announce it, don't fly in and kill it right away so that others don't get the kill just to be a jerk.

5) Get ready for a very long wait:
Most of you who are looking to camp these mobs already know what you're in for. Chances are, you know the drill, as you've done it many times before. This is no different. ~~I've camped Pathfunner for a total of 26 hours so far, and still have not seen it~~. Found Pathrunner after a total of 34 hours of camping, and this is while hitting every single spawn point during my time camping-- It was NOT in the place where I usually parked to take a break, so flying around to each point is advisable. A lot of people say they saw it respawn in 5 hours or even less than that, but this must be from those who are extremely lucky. This rare, like all others, will likely take you a very long time to camp, and do not speculate based on people's luck that you will not be camping it for eternity. It very well could take you a whole week or more.

Your chances increase the longer you spend time there. Don't give up.

6) Interfering frustrations:
The biggest pain in the neck you'll run into when camping Pathrunner is Demidos. Although Demidos does drop a cool void pet, he spawns in the general area of Pathrunner's south-most spawn point, and killing him once does not create a permanent "already defeated" tag for NPCScan as he's not one of the typical lower-level mobs that gives rare loot once. This will cause your addon to alert you to him every single time he's there, and when you're not expecting him, you'll probably start shaking, only to be very peeved to find out that your hunt isn't over yet. You can only loot him once a day, but he does take a long time to solo (if your gear is crap), which means that if you want to get rid of him to get him to stop the alerts, you have to waste time annihilating him to get it to stop, whether or not you want the pet. During this time, Pathrunner could be spawning somewhere else, which would obviously be a terrible setback. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide if killing Demidos is worth it.

Had camped Pathrunner in a group for two hours yesterday, and just walked up on it today: Friday 13th, 2017. XD lol - 6:00 pm Central, Sentinels - US

About the 44,44 mark just south of Embarri Village in the Plains of Serenity.

NOTE: It does NOT aggro when you get near (yellow instead of red), so you can camp safely while waiting for others to arrive.

Ladies and gentleman in 7.3.2 hes spawn has been buffed so he spawns every 4-6 hours and i have a fantastic method that worked for me. Make trial lvl 100 blood death knights on different language LOW pop realms and if you have flying go to gorgrond and scan the area. In Legion's days (7.3), was leveling my dwarf subtlety rogue Mefax (at level 91 or so), and saw this beaut of a talbuk. Took me 2 or 3 tries (in which I died trying to kill him) but got the mount! I had no idea he was a genuinely-rare, mount-dropping enemy, although the high health was a clue. And, the thing is I got him 10 minutes before the server shut off on Tuesday :)

Spawned on a toon that couldn't kill it, so I logged onto my main and got there just as someone else was looting it's corpse. I was so upset, since it was the 1st time I'd ever seen Pathrunner on many alts and my main. So I logged onto my Lvl 100 horde hunter and made my way there and nothing was up along the way that dropped mounts, so I was very happy and surprised to find Pathrunner up in one of the southern spawn points. Not the same point as my ally toons that just missed it. Anyway, I soloed it easy and looted and got the mount! It was my 300th mount needed for the Lord of the Reins achieve!

Found Pathrunner after about 3 hours of flying around the spawn points. I set up a route via the Routes addon and just auto flew around all the spawn points following the line on my mini-map. It's tedious but worth it. I was pretty worried that someone would kill him before I could since I am on Illidan which is high pop but I had no trouble. He spawned at the 39.6, 36.6 spawn point for me.

Unsure of when this changed as apparently it used to to work but trial characters no longer seem to be able to loot these. Killed both Pathrunner and Poundfist on trials but no loot. Bummer, though I am mostly okay with this change in some bizarre masochistic way considering I will likely never summon either mount after getting them. Getting most of Frostbitten done in a few hours using trial characters on low pop servers did feel a bit cheap!
