Found one in The Ringing Deeps 57.76 46.42

When fighting the Skittish Sniffler in a pet battle, it will perform a self-harming charge attack. Don't get it too low or it will kill itself.

I found one in The Ringing Deeps at 52.45, 49.88

This is a somewhat rarer spawn substitute for the Pinkskin Sniffler, sirloper's coordinates are good and if there's none around the old tried and true method of killing absolutely every critter in the area to force a respawn usually does the trick within a few rounds.

I found two happily running around at the same time at 53.70 46.60 in The Ringing Deeps. There was one Pinkskin Sniffler there too, so they likely share spawns.

Comment by Marenyalia

Found as a frontline pet in The Ringing Deeps at 50.8 38.8, and a few moments later at 54.3 58.4. Edit: Another one today at 54.5, 54.5, They seem to appear in this general area.

Secondary pet: No

Found in specific areas of The Ringing Deeps. A bit rarer than other pets. Can be found in Azj-Kahet too but in a very small area.

Locations are not guaranteed - critter pets can spawn in place of the battle pet version.

Having trouble finding this pet? Try killing critter versions of it to spawn a battle pet version.

Found one running around by its lonesome in The Ringing Deeps at 60.25 86.25, right next to the small building with Foreman Bentscale inside.

Comment by DakMonkeyz

Check first if the Skittish Sniffler you are trying to catch has Stone Rush or Stoneskin in the third ability slot.

If it has Stoneskin, continue the battle normally.

If it has Stone Rush, it can boink itself and suicide. You can forfeit and restart the fight until it no longer has stone rush available.

Found in Azj-Kahet, just at the south exit of the Mmari village. It was a frontline pet, didn't have a self-harming ability.

Comment by Aperture45

This pet has 3 color variants for those who enjoy collecting.

The yellow-orange one is by far the most common - it has a frequency of 100 in 111 spawns, or 90.1%. The dark grey one has a spawn chance of 10 in 111, or 9%. By far the rarest, the pale white one has a spawn chance of 1 in 111 or 0.9%.

Unfortunately spawns are very spread out for this pet, and locations seem to be shared with other potential pet and critter spawns. Do remember to check in Azj-Kahet, I found my pale white variant there today by pure luck but its a very low traffic area and easy to clear out for a future sweep. As well as being very rare the pale white variant looks very similar to the standard yellow-orange in the Ringing Deeps light. Highly recommend keeping a yellow-orange one out to compare the portrait and in battle.

Do be aware of the self-damage ability this has to avoid disappointment, reset fights if needed!
