F R E S HThat's it. That's all they want is fresh.
We want something new. Nothing we've already seen in other expansions or retail versions.
It is good to see that only a third part of respondents supported the idea of introducing warmodes. World PvP in combination with no flying and narrow and complex entrances to instances is what makes the world feel exciting and engaging. If you do not want to world pvp, go to a pve server. Those already have a toggleable pvp mode. Whereas let pvp servers be pvp servers: a mayhem of ganking and constant mass battles around Gadgetzan and Tarren Mill. Also very good to see that only 10% supported the idea of flying.
Balanced specs for all classes. We don't need as many abilities as SoD, but Ret Pally, boomkin, etc should become viable.
I want /spit back and all of the other 'modern' changes reversed.
*highlight* Turtle WoW *right-click* *copy* *paste* Classic +
new wings of raids would be cool. like lets say a new cavern opened up behind Garr and that leads to another set of 8-10 bosses
Add content to the levelling process and don't just focus on new endgame forever. That's unsustainable. Turtle WoW is doing Classic+ right.
Ascension WoW but in Retail-Classic+.
AoE loot not being near 100% on the voting just shows classic players belong in prison and Blizzard shouldnt listen to them hopefully
People really are over thinking it, people want classic. Act as if you are still developing content for the vanilla version of the game and try not to put it all at the endgame. Not that some of the things on that list aren't nice, it's just that once again, it has to be repeated, it is extremely easy to break classic. We have gotten everything else, what we haven't gotten is an "expansion" to that original feel of the game that didn't try to fundamentally alter things. This means core changes have to be as minimal as possible.
I hope for something between sod and ascension azeroth reborn for the gameplay. and some new area/content that look like what twow does. would be dopei dont enjoy a lot what epoch/twow did about the class gameplay. feel a bit too regular classic like, the worst thing was their threat and aggro management philosophy. you could like do a arcane explosion that got 2-3 random proc of extra damage, take the threat and instadie (you waited 3-4s before pressing the button).
Get rid of world buffs, pare down raid consumes/make them more accessible and cheaper, balance classes so you're not looking at 20 warrior raids. Get rid of expose/sunder.
Might be just a crazy conspiracy theory, but I think WoWhead knows something, or maybe just some content creators. First the TurtleWoW drama, now I see more and more talk about Classic+, more vibrant compared to prior speculations. Maybe they want to slowly spread some hype chunks to get people going, to drive up a full-on hype machine to milk this out and make it feel more of a thing.
SoD phase 1 is proof that vanilla with added/altered content can be extremely fun, everyone loved the start of sod. So, something like that, but better :D
Just do not repeat "Nightmare Incursions"
Just stop killing pservers, just don't touch Turtle - that's more than enough for us and more than you can ever be able to do ActiBlizz!
You want retail in old zones (but you want new ones) and lower numbers (so a stat squish like retail gets)
Ah yes xaryu and his followers a bastion of great idea's
