Runewords Are Coming To Diablo 4 - Vessel of Hatred Exclusive

Runewords

Runeword Rules

Runewords will only be available in Vessel of Hatred.
Players will only be able to equip two Runewords at a time.

Offering is the new resource system for Runes.
Overflow is when the Offering exceeds the Runeword's trigger.

Runewords will allow players to cast spells from other Classes.

Crafting

Using three of the same Rune will allow you to craft one of another Rune.

You cant just kill demons and get cool stuff. No you have to kill stuff, wait for a drops with 3 perfect stat drops, temper it (hope for the best), masterwork it (and hope for the best) and now you have to rune word *!@# as well?

Its a thing that I loved in D2, but I also know how much it completelly changed the game. Runewords litteraly made most Sets and legendary items useless because how much they are busted.

But I really love what they did there. Now not only Runeword add new power to your legendaries/uniques (does that work on uniques?), but it can also give you an another class power? Thats so great! It does take some inspiration from D2 runewords, because some of those could indeed give you skills from other class.

They have nothing in common with D2 runewords it's again aspect-like kind of power which won't change item affixes only give you some skills.
It's another d3 trash style system.

When they named D3 Gr - pit(aka d2 lock) has it ceased to be gr cuz of this?
