Anub'arak is one of the saddest lore characters: fought a desperate war he could not win and died for his people, only to be enslaved in death and die for the dude who killed him. And THEN he was raised and enslaved again, only to die for the third time. I hope we won't have to fight him again (raised by the void or something), he earned his eternal rest. And It's nice to see not all nerubians were wiped out, they can at least preserve his kingdom's legacy (and maybe revive it, who knows?). Island Expeditions confirmed that some more nerubians managed to escape...
This writing is very good!
No telling that last Survivor anything right now would jeopardize operations In the zone. But after the raid, I would say that would be a good time to do so.
I'm down for nerubian lore. I totally didn't get invested in DF's story. Not at all. Wasn't interested in cartoony family friendly dragons, aspects or primalists.
Reminder that the Nerubians we helped in Northrend were *Neutral,* not Friendly. Know who else was Neutral when we first met them? The Klaxxi. Bugs are bugs. Don't trust the bugs.
We miss Anub'arak
