Primal Storm Issues - Blizzard Looking into Fixing by Next Reset

Posted 2024/04/09 at 6:58 PM by Anshlun

Primal Storms

Please know that we’ve been working on these issues, and will continue to make tweaks
and fixes until we’ve got it all ironed out. We’re looking to accomplish a couple of things:

Disable the Primalist Storm location.
More thoroughly fix the scheduler so that it can pick two Storms at once.

We like having two up at a time.We think that some of this will require that we implement fixes during maintenance, so please bear with us until next Tuesday.

There's never been anything in this game that has been improved by RNG over just having it on a fixed rotation. Fixed rotation is always better.

That said, hopefully Blizzard looks at the WQs for "A Legendary Album" soon as well.

Comment by BustingBrig

I'd prefer a fixed schedule so that I can time when I need to log in to finish off parts of the achievement.

While they are there, can they PLEASE look at the storm-spawned rares (from Stormed Off) that don't get the Elementally Imbued buff? I have been camping these storms for the Elemental Lariat design for more than a year and the rares never spawn correctly making this design way too expensive in comparison with other crafting recipes.

If Bliz wants to help they can make it so the Gran Hunt companion colors drop more frequently

Oh good, so that one isn't just me either LOL

Comment by Crusherix

Fix the Legendary Album WQs aswell. I lack 2 and they haven't spawned in 3 weeks atleast.

Comment by Esploratore

Very dangerous change, the item has a certain value, if you bought one now for 1,5 mil to sell for 2,5 mil (which takes weeks sometimes) you wouldn't be happy about the value suddenly halving.

And I say that as someone who sold the last lariat I had over a month ago, but I just don't like when the goalposts are moved.

Yeah I was going to say. Storms are an issue but at least you have more than two chances a week (per zone) to possibly get the right quest for A Legendary Album. Let’s put a little focus on how bad this one also is.

Comment by EdyyMS

Really weird to say "next reset we'll fix this" on the same day that a reset just happened, can't they just get it done already? Instead we'll have to wait another week for a fix that's already ready to be applied to the game.

Having my CC forum post replied to directly makes me happy on the communication here at the very least

Yeah, please put the Cataloging World Quests on a fixed rotation, the Thaldraszus one with the Time-Warped Mysterious Figure and the Ohn'ahran Plains one with Nat Pagle still have not spawned since the A World Awoken achievement went live. Really boring when the only thing keeping you from the achievement is the RNG behind when WQs spawn. Agreeing with the other comments here and elsewhere; a set schedule for WQs is so much better and more respectful of our time.

Comment by Biggumsg

By next reset? Seriously, how hard is it for them to have 1-2 up constantly switching zones and every time it comes back to a previous zone it's ensured not the previous element? Not like they haven't done anything like this before OR are without the man-power to do so...

I got my last two in one evening. Just run the first weekly hunt on different toons for the purple bag reward. Took probably 4 different toons to get the last two colors.

I am in exactly the same situation. It would be great if these quests did spawn with a bit more regularity.

They could also fix the frog in the lake bug that blocks that Thal grand hunt from completing. All these bugs I never noticed before but run into now that we're all scrambling to get that meta achieve. Good luck ya'll! :)

Comment by dblanch369

Now could we also get an extra fishing net location too? Guess I have to wait at least another week or more because I’ve managed to miss Grimrusk and lord only knows when it will be up again. Last thing I need for the meta achievement.

The Elemental Lariat recipe doesn't exist. As someone who's been farming the rares on multiple characters every day since the storms started, I'm convinced they were a limited time drop in S1, and removed from the loot table.

Comment by Peesneeze

This has been bugged since launch so good luck with that one.

Comment by Narhwals

yeah lmao waiting an eternity for the one in Thal and Ohnara

Still waiting for Nate Pagel.
