About what I expected. Not really relishing another 8+ months with no new content though. There really should have been another proper season with a new raid that wraps up Iridikron’s plotline.

Thank god it's at least early fall. I don't consider 30 min of story quests which we will get in 10.2.5/6/7 enough new content to bridge a year long gap and fated season should never replace a regular season but it is what it is. Hopefully they can return to the Legion and BfA 4 tiers per expansion standard one day.
So basically, The War Within will release in late October instead of late November or December. I really hope they do it. But if there is plenty of content, there should be no need to rush. 2 years per expansion has been perfectly fine. The only people who complain are those that choose to play way too much and repeat the same content constantly. Meanwhile, the other 99% of the playerbase is too busy enjoying each expansion to its fullest. Never feel like you have to rush to complete things to be ready when a new expansion releases. It's better to finish the expansion you are adventuring through and then move on when its the right time. We have far too many players in end game that have barely seen 1% of the expansions that came before Dragonflght.
Anybody that says the expansion will be later than September is wrong, sinceSeptember plus 8 weeks for patch .5 that will have the updated 20th Anniversary stuff, just in that for it.But because Cata launched on 30th-ish August iirc? they won't release over it / close to it, so most likely the expansion launches late September.. they gonna push it dangerously if they gonna release early october...
