I really hope there wont be so many legendary items dropping from rewards. grinding is a huge part of arpg's from what iv played and experienced.
Without surprise, Activision-Blizzard is a decade late when it comes to customization. Really disappointed about it, hope they will add more through time. But that's something shared accross every Activision-Blizzard IP. They never understood how meaningful it is to the player to be able to fully and deeply customize their character(s). I really chuckles when I read they want a cosmetic-only shop. They want to make a monetization system based on something they can't even begin to grasp the very concept of.
The barbarian gameplay is embarrassing to watch. Agron literally showed us nothing but auto attacks. The fact this was posted as gameplay showcase is mind blowing. The rogue gameplay seemed to be the only person who has ever played a video game before. Unbelievable.
So... a reskinned D3.. and they decided to move forward with intern graphics instead of professional grade..I guess, they "need" to save money where they can.
Removedthe gameplay looks like it's literally as barebones as they could've possibly made it... I've played d3, PoE, lost ark (still currently raid on it) and all of them were better than this in terms of actual gameplayunless it changes dramatically at max level, diablo is not what it used to be at alli was hoping diablo immortal was cheap and p2w because all of their funds were going to d4, but aside from the environmental design i see no reason to play it
The combat looks uninspired. For example, Lost Ark, at its core, has amazing combat. If Diablo 4 can't at least hit that bar with Press-and-Release, Metered, and more complex telegraphing, it'll be a huge shortfall.I don't know how this combat passes in 2022 or 2023 with other top ARPGs on the market.
Watching these videos makes me want to play less and less. Wow.
Best gameplay was Diablo 1. Let me use my weapons and nothing else. Rogues arent casters. Where are all those animations coming from? Too much effect clutter. I want to be alone with a bunch of monsters in a dark dungeon with nothing more than single arrow shots. That is frightening!

People need to learn….if you are going to do a “gameplay video” showing character creation don’t just randomly click. Cycle through each option so people can see what they are. Nothin is more infuriating than watching the mouse almost click the customisation you want to see and then go to the next tab or not even scroll down the list completely
I guess I set myself up for disappointment when it came to character customization. Four years and only 4 preset faces? Like I get it is not the main focus of the game and I certainly wasn't expecting Sims level of customization but man am I underwhelmed by it. At the very least let me have freckles and dark eye-shadow, don't make choose one or the other.
