Man they really were adamant on the words “banish” and “slay” being used in this title.

Comment by tapczan100

I like how none of it sticks or feels impactful because noone cares about him, i do hope tho that they can come up with something good.

Comment by Dairboi

The titles are kind of repetitive honestly so I could care less

For all the positive "team spirit" appearances the team puts up, I have to wonder how much pressure the writing team is under internally at this point.

Blizzard has to know that the overarching story for Shadowlands was bad, and they have to know that the story being in decline for the last two expansions has been a serious contributing factor to people leaving the game (amongst others obviously). At some point, someone has to have sat down with them and said "Look, this isn't working". Scuffing a major villain this badly is a big deal for them, villains drive their sales, marketing and design... and if nobody likes the villain, they really don't have much left to work with. The art team can only carry so hard... especially when the design prompt is for something like The Maw.
I wouldn't be surprised if Danuser is on thin ice for his Narrative Director position. 10.0 is his chance to redeem himself, but it may well be his undoing if it falls as flat as shadowlands did.

Obviously I wouldn't expect any public posts about this because it's important that the team outwardly supports each other in the face of the... less reasonable portions of the playerbase.

Please BUFF RET ! Omg we have a ugly 2s seraphim which is a joke as 2 part. This 2p makes empyrean power useless as well as it'll be mandatory to play with blade of wrath.

Nope, gotta keep changing the Hall of Fame title. Obviously it's WAYYY more important than fixing something that people have been asking to have fixed since it came out.

Famed slayer of the Banished One or Famed Slayer of Zovaal - otherwise there are plenty of jailors so it doesn't seem so "important" slaying a jailor. It pretty much comes down to a "kicking someone who is already down" vs "who is that villain?". Eternity's saviour is maybe a better title to me, or Famed saviour of Eternity.

For 4 part we have something cool but when u see that from overall, we will probably lose our Wake of Ashes inside our execution sentence, so a builder/spender (woa/tv inside execution sentence) that we loose probably because its RNG. It also makes the execution sentence talent useless, and which was rly strong and was kinda the soul of our 1mn build burst.

On top of that our 2p and 4p is pure RNG. Nice Blizz !

Okay, PTR and updates are not done. But come on the release of bonus set is not from yesteday. We haven't had ANY CHANGE since release. Just a seraphim bug fixed. But no developpers worry about ret spec.

With this set they destroy our best build with Execution Sentence with the 4p. The 2p makes empyrean power useless and the sera buff lasts 2s OMEGALUL;

RET MATTTERS.

Tier set encourages you to play differently? Sounds like its a perfect tier set, leave it how it is

Yes because it's one guy doing all of that, he can't do 2 things at once. /s

At this point they might as well go with "Famed Slayer of the Anonymous!" 😆😆

The Jailer Zovaal is such a great character that not even Blizzard knows how he should be called.

Even Onyxia beats Zovaal in popularity. What a joke!

Comment by gh0sth4nd

I wonder how many of those complaining here are actually in the position to earn this title since its the HoF title.

i mean we talking about 100 horde and 100 alliance guilds

Comment by feffe79

What happend to Arthas and that sleeping arbiter? Have i missed something?

Comment by dr7swag

Feels almost like when Wanda was fighting Thanos but reversed.

Zovaal:" Can you fathom how elaborate my plan is ? How long I've waited for it work out?"
Players:" I don't even know you"

Comment by livie

"Famed Slayer of the Jailer" sounded best. Who the hell is the banished one?

Comment by Nymrohd

Famed Slayer of some janitor is the most appropriate.

Comment by JMjurist

Lol the jailer is such a !@#$ villain they can't even get the title reward for killing him right

Comment by Atiaens

You are aware that Shadowlands was already in production way before Danuser got the job? 10.0 will be his baby ...

Comment by Murzac

Honestly Famed Slayer of the Banished One just sounds like 50x cooler than Famed Slayer of the Jailer, so that's a good change in my eyes. People act as if this kind of stuff isn't changed like a million times during development anyways.

Comment by 0Morara0

per server so yeah its probably in the 50k+ players (+- all those chinese transfer guilds who will fill out the HOF for some servers)

Comment by Olympus3129

Yeah but normally we have something other to do look at other changes or actually have content to play...the only thing going on in SL rn is changing the jailers title that the majority of players won't get xD
