Ember Court is so much more involved than all the other activities combined.
and I've yet to get a decent reward.
The dumbest thing is the 1 time per week limit. NO OTHER COVEN SPECIAL EVENT HAS THIS.At least give us a 2 times per week thing, with resets matching the 2 time per week schedule that is already in place for Maw Hunts and was used with lesser N'zoth invasions.

Yea the Ember Court system could do with some improvements for sure. Don't get me wrong the Court itself is decent but setting everything up beforehand is really awful especially the aforementioned Droman RSVP.I have seen some envious comments though that the Court gets a lot of random stuff from holiday events and that others don't which is a fair comment, I've only got the Court and the Queen's Conservatory (which seems really underwhelming until at least rank 4) unlocked right now so don't have much opinions in comparison but I can tell you the Queen's Conservatory is a nice, relaxing, barely any hassle extra which is a nice alternative atm to the headache that is RSVPs.
i cant imagine this being any fun at all. i will try it one day for myself but it just sounds so ridiculous. especially compared to the epic cov feature that is, for example, kyrian path of ascension. that coliseum is one of the coolest things ive seen in this game in quite a long time. its crazy to me that only a fraction of the playerbase will ever even see it.
I'm still at the early stages and not enjoying it very much. It tends to come out OK (guests are happy) despite me having few available productive options/actions (at least that I know about), so I end up twiddling my thumbs for 8 minutes doing maybe one available not very well explained activity. And the rewards I've seen so far, when looked at in light of the effort/cost invested, are lower than basically anything else in the game including world quests. Not at all sure why this is on a weekly timer like it's some special deal, but I guess I appreciate not having to even consider doing it more than once per week.
So far I've tried the Night Fae and Kyrian things. Kyrian I didnt like since it was a gimmicky minigame and the crafting materials needed for it were a very tedious affair to grind. Night Fae is good and hands off, though a bit boring. I do kinda dislike how The Maw is required to keep up with souls for it and wish you could get souls from other sources. Venthyr looks good. Not sure about Necrolords, seems annoying from what I read.
the Droman rsvp only needs to be done once really since you can make sure you have a good stockpile of berries for every future rsvp related to him. I still got 15 berries in my bank and i'm best friend status with him right now.
All you have to do for Aliothe is stock up on a whole bunch and run through the trade chain once; the items aren't unique. I have her at Buddy and have only used like half of the 9 I bought last time. The initial item costs a lot less now too, now that mats have come way down in price since the beginning of the expansion.
