Where did they say titanforging is removed in 8.3? I can't find anything about it.

Comment by hyne

I'm glad the classes that have best in slot azerite or weapons on the last two bosses will get to dominate the meta much easier now, great change.

Comment by breathwow

Anybody else notice that 1h agility users have no 485 weapon drop? lol theres a dagger but no sword/axe/mace/warglaive. Every other weapon type is covered but this?

It says it directly in this post!
Seriously though, I'm pretty sure it's in the patch notes on the details of the Corruption system. Either way, Titanforging is gone for next patch in s4 stuff, rejoice!

No 2h agility weapons either

Was just about to comment this, makes me feel great as a monk... (at least Mistweaver is covered with that Intellect sword?)

Thankfully that seems to be everyone but non-dagger rogues, WW monks, DHs and those blasted feral druids! The meta is sure to revolve around all those ret pallies, warriors, DKs and casters!

They just added a Str 2h DPS option in the last build, very likely they'll flesh out the other missing pieces as well.

Because it's gonna be easy to steamroll the last 2 bosses of mythic anywhere earlier than 9.0 pre-patch... Right?
It's actually worse to have your weapon on the last boss that won't be killed for months and then probably it won't drop for another x weeks of rekills, meanwhile other classes can get freebie weapons from early bosses (who remembers Taloc and Champions of the Light steamrolled for these juicy warrior / ret / unholy 2-handers).

Are you seriously complaining that 10 ilevels on weapons will significantly change the meta? You realize that balance usually has somewhere around a 5-15% spread, and that +10 ilvls on a weapon is worth ballpark ~1-1.5%? Even counting that and azerite (assuming those pieces even have the bonuses you want, as that's much more important than raw ilevel in most cases), it's not going to have anything close to a major impact on performance.

Not to mention we're talking about drops from the last two bosses... you know, the point at which the tier is effectively over and all you have left to do is farm (because balance matters when ranks are dictated by scumbagging mechanics, amirite?). This is honestly about the dumbest complaint I've seen in quite some time, and that's saying a lot.

Hope they will reconsider what loot will drop from last bosses.

It's wonderfully telling that you missed out an entire spec from that there list :p

Not sarcastic though - it does kinda feel weird that all these corruption weapons exist and you could just layer them all into N'zoth's loot table a la Deathwing and just re-tread that. If the corruption effects are cool, great they're relevant at 470 from Heroic all the way through to Mythic kills, if they suck well what does it matter you grab your 475s over the other bosses. Loot table seems backward for that reason.

Whether it makes any difference for raids or not though is a big fat who knows, if the weapons were even remotely balanced in value you'd have an argument but right now half of them aren't even worth using for the corruption cost.

Well, now that I HAVE to raid I'm honestly considering not playing at all.

Having to do progression 20 hours a week for 2-3 months only then to be able to be competitive in M+ is tiring and not what we were used to.

At least in EP we only had to kill the first 3-4 bosses to get competitive M+ loot (thats for dpsers and tanks, healers dont care), now we have to kill all of them.

Wow that azerite sux for the 2 toons I raid on god these devs our out of touch

Comment by zizoex

They really need to think it over with that ilvl increase for those 2 bosses, I´m fine with it on off pieces but either they need move the azerite and weapons away from there or make them stay the same ilvl as the other bosses or simply just make all weapons and azerite 10 ilvls higher, I can use the azerite from there but then that means only use those items can´t use the tokens as a backup, but if you are 1H agi user or non sword int user then you are simply screw on weapons.

Comment by Gelisha

Nice to see that there also no weapon that priest could use on those 2 last bosses atm...

Comment by bobbis91

I find it odd that they've added this now, and without changing the loot table to balance things out, like Deathwing in Cata, he only dropped the weapons. still time to change of course. That said, this won't be of any huge effect since it's only the last 2 bosses, and only on mythic, not something the majority of players will see until some point in the next expansion. Sure it gives those at the cutting edge a small advantage, but lets be honest, they're already better than 90% of us commenting and moaning anyway.

A side note, since there's azerite gear in there, will they be available at that boosted ilvl through the random token and TR?

There's a dearth of weapons in general there. There's nothing for tanks and Frost DKs, nothing for int users except Warlocks, Mages and Holy Paladins(and it was a DPS proc), nothing for 2h agi users...
