There's a cave to the north guarded by elite worms that will do the same thing. This also has a pylon that will initiate a Mardivas minigame.
There is a cave at north end as well, you will get a msg saying that its too dangerous and you should turn back. If you go ahead you will get teleported to this location as well.
"Drown yourself in the circle of Stars"?
Been there about 20 hours ago.. There is something you can click while you're there that teleports you to the Tidal Conflux. There's a purple orb thing near the summoning stone near the stairs to the right called "The Displacement Pedestal" and if you click it - it says "The Displacement Pedestal glows with arcane energy." That is when you can choose "Teleport to the Tidal Conflux." Doing so will bring you in front of Lady Zharessa <Champion of Azshara>.
Funny, because earlier today I was in that area to finish the What Will It Mine? quest (which seemed to be bugged yesterday), and had the idea to swim down there, because there may be some secret or a chest or something! Ultimately, I decided 'Nah, there's probably nothing down there', and went on my way after I finished the quest. Oops.
Went in there looking for a rare and got ported out.
Oh this happened to me on Tuesday... Didn't realize it was so "secret". Just stumbled upon it by accident
Darn.I found this cave almost immediately day one, one I saw "Danger" pop up as a debuff and enemies spawning on top of me I knew I was in a good area...I wish I sent this to WoWhead, then I could've been in the article. :P
You sure this isn't just the out of bound teleport and that cave is accidentally acting as out of bounds? Because ive had this happen in other caves randomly and they are normally caves that are on the edge of the map.
I found this as well but in a slightly different way with no effects other than the screen blurring and teleporting. I was just trying to get to a rare at the time.
I don’t know if they fixed it, but Tuesday when I goblin glided down onto the platform with Lady Zharessa, if you walked to the back of the platform and looked back toward her, she would phase out and you’d see Jaina, Lorthemar, Thrall and Greymane standing there. Haven’t been able to replicate it since though.
Discovered this first day of new content. Didn’t know this was a “secret” and I got to raid entrance different way in cave. I took the top path and tried to transverse a hole in the floor over the pool mentioned in article to explore what was past. There were crabs on the other side of the hole in floor, as I jumped on to rocks on side of hole to reach crabs I got a warning. Then the screen went red, black then I awoke in the eternal palace at the entrance. I went back several times just to see this was not some game error and thought what lay beyond the hole was another entrance to the eternal place. I really didn’t think this was news worthy so I went on exploring for the rest of the day.
If you go to the back of the top floor in that very same cave it will do the same thing and teleport to Aszhara's palace even before you can reach the back of the cave. I see a couple other people have found this as well. I don't think this is a "secret" but instead a mechanic to teleport players back into Nazjatar that find their way out and the devs chose the raid portal as the teleport spot.

Stumbled on that one 2 days ago, thought i glitched out because it was a weird place to respawn, luckily there was a teleportation orb there
I also stumbled upon another area that will do that in another cave. If you go just to the left of the cave and then go into the water, there is a cave to the north that will be called Mardivas' Secret Cave or something along those lines. After you get out of the water in the cave if you go on the right side you will get the same notification and then get ported to the Raid entrance.
I don’t know if someone else experienced this, but when I was almost dying near the Eternal Palace, there was an unseen presence whispering to me: Let go. There was also voice acting. Super creepy. I made me immediately think of when N’zoth was whispering to Azshara in Zin’Ashari.I kept living so didn’t know what would happen after though.(To be clear, I do not have the gift of N’zoth)
