Spoilers/Speculation for Patch 8.1.5Telogrus Rift

Nether-Prince Durzaan: My people were reshaped by the void. Stripped of the limitations of flesh. We offer you the same gift.
Nether-Prince Durzaan: Even shattered as it is, this place echoes with the whispers of the great ones who were slain... and the hatred of he who broke this world.
Nether-Prince Durzaan: A pity you remain defiant. The patience of the masters is vast... but not infinite.

Unshackled void energies ravage the other islands. It remains too dangerous to navigate.
The last people who ventured beyond this space were consumed by the shadows.
The void energy released when the ethereals attacked left the other islands unstable. No one is allowed beyond this point.
The Voidstorm is growing. It might even consume the big island entirely.

Shadreen says: Have you gathered the information I require?
Nastasia Flairwatcher says: Yes, here are the results.
Shadreen says: ...you have done well. My master shall be pleased to see this.

You are my eyes when my eyes are elsewhere. See everything. Remember, record, report. The way they move, the way they fight, their choice of armor, their taste in weapons. Let no detail elude you.

Pay special attention to the heroes, the champions, the movers of fate. Watch from afar. When up close, interfere, if you deem it necessary.

Do not fail me, Xan-Sallish. Know that I have eyes on you, too.

Welcome to the Faire young one! We have collected wonders from all over the world for your perusal. Oh and please let me know if you manage to collect a set of the lesser Darkmoon cards, as the master...I mean I would be keenly interested in them.”

Etheral race for Horde confirmed.

Maybe add a spoiler warning for Brawler's Guild, I've been trying to avoid 8.1.5 Brawler's Guild stuff to play through it myself, and then all of a sudden it just jumps out that (blank) is impersonating (blank) to do the murder. :/

I thought Telogrus Rift was confirmed to be all that remains of the ethereal homeworld that was destroyed by Dimensius the All-Devouring not the planet Sargeras destroyed?

If you don't want to be spoiled on anything, don't click on anything that involves storyline. Wowhead is not responsible for queuing you in on what spoils what in the one line title of the article.

Very interesting it seems the shadows are growing thicker and thicker on our little world

The Ethereal's homeworld is or was, the planet K'aresh. Telogrus is something yet unknown or mentioned until BFA. If it IS the remains of K'aresh it's really weird they didn't include it's name somewhere.

I have no idea what brawler's guilds are. Is it an option to create a guild for PvP players only?

It's single-player content where you defeat bosses in front of spectators, and the bosses are silly like seagulls. It's pretty lighthearted content, so it's surprising for it to take a dark turn.

I really wish Blizzard wouldn't make EVERYTHING so dark, bleak, and hopeless.

I believe they watch everything we do so they can train on how to counter us. What our weaknesses are, what doesn't work against us, etc.

I'm not sure i want n'zoth seeing my fear.. which is of course jaina and sylvans being killed off lore wise thats a nightmare for me.

Comment by Eumalfa

Pardon the Sylvanas stanning, but my theory is that Bwonsamdi & Eyir are unwittingly hoarding souls for N'zoth, and he plans on using the souls of Azeroth's dead to achieve his plans & that Sylvanas, as being one of the few people to die and be delivered to none of the established forms of afterlife, has become privy to N'zoth's plan. (The theory that Sylvanas herself is working for N'zoth & the Void doesn't account for why the Void Lord inside her sister, Alleria, is so afraid of her & wanted Alleria to kill her sister, est. Three Sisters Comic.) So if N'zoth is hording souls, suddenly Sylvanas' goal to kill everybody & raise them to unlife becomes the only rational way to cercumvent that. I also predict this exansion will end with Sylvanas raising the souls of Darnassus as forsaken in the form of a new Night Elf Forsaken allied race.

Don't forget, Bwonsamdi is supposed to have a boss as well, right? Could there also be some connection there?

Calia and other high-priests will intervene and perform a ritual to bring them back to the light, and some of them will, creating a new allied race.

This is an interesting read! I follow wow news quite often and I didnt even know about this npc.

Comment by Castrum

Really hoping for a new Old God, either the bat with skulls from Chronicle or some new one that slams into Azeroth (hopefully on top of Stormwind). N'Zoth is the really lazy answer though, so 99% chance of Blizz going that route (WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED?).
