I find her gorgeous! There's something beautifully alien about her. She gives off an air of authority as well. I think they did an excellent job!
well.. Now all we need is new/updated model for Tyrande. I know Blood Elven leaders (Theron, Liadrin,..) & council of three hammers don't have unique models but they llok good even without it. But Tyrande needs better graphic model. They left her in Legion and now when Teldrassil burns and her old queen will be there she need to look better.
I think she would have looked/worked better with a snake body like most naga, but with the 4 smaller accessory tentacles (like the 2 in the back of the current model) spanning her hips/waist. This model just looks a mess to me and a nightmare to rig movement animations to, specifically "walking". Yuck. I also dislike the voice change.Plus side, the facial makeup and "hair" look very good as does her attire, so there is that. I would just darken up her "hair" a tad as the white just seems out of place. Perhaps an aqua?
well Azshara did have white hair as a night elf
My Queen is getting closer to claiming Azeroth for herself again! The Lights of Lights will triumph and everything will be in perfection
She does look (and sound) awesome! But I'm worried that her involvement as the end boss of a mid-expansion raid is going to be a huge let down after the years of build-up and hype she has had. Unless us killing her is the trigger for the poop to get real with the Old Gods, the same way killing Gul'dan in the Nighthold (who was in exactly the same spot gameplay-wise as Azshara is, the end boss of the second raid) was the trigger for us going into the Tomb of Sargeras and ultimately to Argus.
Certainly hottest octopus i ever seen. :DThe middle tentacle seems quite big though.
I personally believe the Naga would join the Horde. For one reason, because their deep hatred of the night elves, and the night elves' deep hatred for them. For another reason, the Naga have history of positive relations with the Blood Elves through Warcraft 3 and through the Illidari. And for a third reason, because the majority of the highborne population is now within the Horde. The Blood Elves of Silvermoon and the Nightborne of Suramar are the two biggest populations of highborne that are known to be left on Azeroth besides the Naga themselves. The alliance has a small population of some of the original highborne, a small population of high elves, and a small population of void elves, but the numbers just aren't quite the same. Although that could be used as reasoning for them to be a neutral race, which I also would heavily support.. But currently, the majority of the society that the Naga were once a part of are now in the Horde, so it would make sense for the Horde to be the place of the Naga post-Azshara.
Just look at Kangaroo's they use their tail to hold themselves up before they kick, I'd say her tentacles more than make up for the strength required to hold her body up.
It would be very nice if Naga were a neutral race. They have been the most sought after race since their introduction. People even modded them to be playable in Warcraft 3. After Azshara is defeated, the Naga could split off into two groups. One group who wishes to rejoin Night Elven society and goes to the Alliance, and is perhaps re-entered into Night Elven society through the Highborne. The other group wishes to re-join the highborne society that is present in the Horde through the Blood Elves and the Nightborne.
Loving the new model.
The new model is gorgeous :)It would be really great if they added Nagas as playable race
Blizzard say "Azshara will be like a GulDan in Legion" (i think tier1 raid boss) , this is so fail ... GulDan was with us 2 expansion, we see him, we chase him, and after WoD we want kill him because he EVIL , he has great story, what we see with Azshara .. nothing , we waiting for she 12 years , and when she coming we just kill it without good story telling of Azshara, i want Azshara like a last boss or boss in last raid, want see her full BFA , i want learn her story in WoW, her motivation, her problems, i want MORE AZSHARA >< Blizzard dont kill her in 1st raid tier ! PLS
Most likely will join the Horde since with their track record the alliance will see them as monsters and turn their backs on their once brethren.
