Yeah, I kept questioning Madam Shadow when I first did the questline as soon as the PTR went live (weeks before you could actually complete it and get the customizations), and Twinkle one-shotted me. Not sure if it wasn't tuned properly, though it did take me by surprise and I admit I was unprepared for it. Maybe when it goes live...Otherwise, while I'm happy that I can customize my minions now, this unfortunately comes with the downside that now it seems each minion's alt forms now share the same name as its base form (i.e. I can change my Succubus to appear as a Shadow Succubus, a Fel Temptress, a Shivarra, or an Incubus, but she retains the name "Angva" instead of having a unique name for each form). I understand that they might have trouble programming things to retain the unique names between forms, though, so I guess I'll just have to accept that. What I will call bulls*** on is them removing the option to change your Felhunter into an Observer because of the whole "silhouette justification" (which they had previously used as an excuse to not add High Elves for the Alliance, but then made Void Elves instead), seeing as how the Shivarra, Incubus, Wrathguard, and Terrorguard (since Doomguards can be mogged in the barber shop) are all heavy changes to their respective base form's silhouette. It's a bulls*** excuse just so they can take out an option we've had all this time, and why? No real reason, it seems.Lastly, plenty of the customization options are old, low-res models, like the Void Lord and Terrorguard ones. It just really stands out when compared to the newer models.
the one quest title that *is* mentioned here, links to the series of quests that's not even coded correctly/in order and links out of order. the horde start quest equivalent is half thru the list, but when clicking the first quest in the storyline sidebar, upon arrival the sidebar updates that you're on the 2nd quest. needs a lil bit of work with links to the actual quests instead of just your pics and all the quest text. also unsure why another author copy/pasted this exact article/post, but as a guide... again, lacking the same information, or what level it requires or any of that jazz.
Ugh! Got as far as the Blasted Lands.... thought I was done and got rid of the letter. No cant complete the last step in Booty Bay. What to do? Can't reset the questline
So I started this as I was leveling up., it was STUPIDLY hard to kill the demon in blasted lands so I left it.... many weeks go by and I remember oh I forgot to complete that. Quest is gone from my log... abandoned by mistake? not sure. But I remember blasted lands was where the demon was. OK . I go there. Nothing. I then say ok fine. Oh darkmoon faire is up, ill go buff my rep for DF faction rewards... oh no... I'm in a warlock quest instanced version and can't do that. Fantastic. Can't complete quest. Can't do Darkmoon....no clear indidcation where to go to fix this....Anyone?
I came to Darkmoon at lvl 60 to try to kill Twinkle... fail over and over, then i saw a lvl 51 lock one shot it, so i invited a low lvl lock and even tho we were opposite faction we one shot him! Easy :)
Does anyone know what you have to do/what level you have to be to get the last quest? No marker near the mage tower in SW, and when I went to BB I could talk to the guy, but got no quest to finish up the line. Level 42 worgen lock, all I need is "A Lighter Side of Fel"
You can fish for Darkmoon Daggermaw during this questline!
