Would be nice to get a blue post on what exactly works. And really if Blizzard wants to consider making Timewalking offer a progression path (which is entirely valid and is similar to how many other MMORPGs manage to keep most if not all old content evergreen), they will need to come up with a specific set of rules that works across timewalking so people don't feel the need to get different gear sets for every single timewalking activity if they want to be optimized.
The funny thing is that 'rules' like this wouldn't even be necessary if Blizzard hadn't introduced borrowed power in the first place. It's probably not going to be very fun playing what feels like a completely different class while attempting these challenges, with all borrowed power stuff being disabled.
I did them for every class I had a max level for, but most I couldn't have done without the artifact weapon and assorted traits/passives helping me out. Gonna be interesting to see how well they can balance it.
I know the base abilities and rotations will remain the same, but I wonder how it will *feel* to walk into the tower and suddenly a bunch of things we're used to playing with is suddenly disabled. I don't mean numbers, but things like rotation, cool downs, utilities and what not. Am I going to feel gutted as a spec, or will I even notice?I suspect (or hope) it won't feel much different, but if thats the case, what would that say about these systems if they are disabled and we barely notice?
I think we would need the Weapons of Artifact traits to be enabled only by TW so as not to have too much difficulty in these bosses of this event.
lol
Ahhh yes, “updates” on last expansion’s content!
