The other pandaria ones WERE affected, I checked them all on patch day. Me going into Siege was a coincidence, but msv and hof etc were on a daily lockout
I feel like this is just a bug. But to address the idea of daily Legacy raid lockouts as if it were an intended change; I feel like changes like this where the purpose is obviously to make legacy content retroactively accelerated probably shouldn't happen as a matter of principal. As long as the content isn't bugged, broken, or improperly functioning changes like this shouldn't need to be made. It should function today much the same as it did when it was originally introduce. Otherwise it feels like players who invested time earlier, before nerfs to accelerate progress were made, get their effort undermined.
Seems like a bug, nothing more.
Strange. I'd like to see all legacy content made to have no lockouts at all. Let people decide how often they run things over and over to get the things they desire. Shouldn't need an army of alts anymore I think.
Not sure if this has been mentioned.I noticed this morning that they also fixed the part of the Garrosh RP skip by forcing the last trash pack before him to follow the side paths in order to get to you (as opposed to follow you down the edge that you just jump down), slowing down the RP reset by 15-20+ seconds.
Because simply increasing the drop chance of the shoulders is too hard, let's just make people have to grind for it more often. This is probably the dumbest fix for this.
World bosses also seem to be on a daily lockout, Killed Nalak 3x this week, I could only reroll the first kill however.
Legacy content raid and mythic dungeon content should reset twice a week like world quests do now. It gives people extra farming without making people feel like they have to run things daily
They literally did this for 1 raid out of like 30 legacy raids, obviously this unintentional lol
Clearly a bug with the Remix tests. But if not, it's a huge and interesting change.
If nothing else, I really wish Blizzard would remove the shared lockout for 10- and 25-player raids that was added with Cataclysm and made retroactive to WotLK raids. It was stupid to do fourteen years ago, and still as dumb today (even more so in fact).
