How I just got the gems: apparently not all shards are bugged. There was a group in LFG made by a kind soul who was inviting people to get them on the shard the world event was working. The shard I got my gems from was Wildhammer-EU. There was another group up on Blackhand-EU but can't say if that worked, although it makes sense. It seems only works on 5 man groups and not raids. If you have friends on those servers you can have them invite you and take part into a working event.Hope it helps.
ok so id like to add that i found a comment on here for one of the gems. get a tank to tank the boss at the opposite wall of the entrance of shuddering hollows and keep him there. he dies there and the gem is obtainable. worked for both gems just now.
Just got the two gems. First boss was pulled, then let it reset so it's up. Then restart the event and pull the boss to the (closed) entrance and kill it there before countdown expires. Not sure why or how but worked twice in a row for me.
Well a lot of people haven't got it, so if you did good for you. Others have not. I ran the event at least 50+ times all day Saturday and Sunday no stones. It did not matter which way the rare was tanked, all I got was cosmetic gear.

Still a shame it's not hotfix since yesterday ...EDIT : I turn on wm and I was able to drop my 2 gems.Created a group to give the opportunity for other ppl to drop it, worked 2 times and third time wq vanished (unsync).
Doing it with WM on is also bugged, The people saying that it matters simply got lucky.
Dont let the boss crash into the walls. We're getting consistent drops with this strat.

It's even worst then ever now,trying to help a mate that was late, event never really start/end we never get the quest aswellIf anyone have a recent update or a way to get it(We already know about the overlap event and stuff nw we got it 100% few days ago with it)But now it seems even more bugged
It seems to be to have been fixed now, got gems 2 times in a row. Went to the table and the event was up, contributed, the event popped on the map, went there and the door were visible. Then waited until the timer expired and got the bonus objective. (just like the others)Killed Stalagnarok inside the cave and it didn't resetted or bugged out.Don't know if it was sheer luck or have been fixed. I hope it has been repaired tho.
