Meteor Cleave - The Jailer swings his flail in a huge arc, inflicting 1236560 Physical damage split evenly between all players in front of him. All players hit are knocked back. The main target takes 500% increased Physical damage for 50 sec.

During the PTR cycle, the value was 2% per tick (18% total), which suggested that execute classes would likely be very strong for this final burn, as The Jailer would likely heal up and shield while still being below 30% health. When it was buffed to a 36% heal, it was impossible for the boss to stay in execute range even if it triggered at 0% health. Can't wait to hear the afterthoughts of raiding guilds after they finish, such a weird tier. (jk)Comment by Justin1188Sounds like he will probably have a last stand type mechanic at low percentage where he heals and dots the raid and they have to kill him fast.

But nerfing these mechanics before teams even get to them is just more nannying of the world first race by Blizzard and I’m really disliking it now.

Make your raids, fix your raids, tune your raids and then let people race. If they bang their head on it for a month until they have the gear, so be it, their choice to treat a video game as a job. Only the racers are doing this content, it’s not like it’s a widespread thing for the benefit of the playerbase. Nerfing the crab after one guild beat it was unfair. As is giving double legendaries to that guild the day before another guild when the boss is tuned around them.

At this point Limit v Echo will come down to which guild has to go to bed when blizzard tinker with the boss again, and that’s no fun for anyone. Nor is their any prestige in it. If Limit had won after the double legendary headstart it would have been meaningless and only their failure to do so kept any integrity in the race, but it’s hard to argue they’ve had about 2 days extra progress on Echo in total now.

Either release it and let them race against each other fairly with the same start/reset time and only fix bugs and impossible bosses, or do even better and actually tune your content for majority of your playerbase and not for independent businesses. Because right now this ‘race’ is kinda meaningless beyond fanboy bragging rights. I can't believe they still have the reset issue. It's pretty ridiculous.

With that in mind, it leads to EU and US having (valid) complaints. US gets resets first. Then if they're successful, they run into bugged bosses first and are basically beta testing for EU. I'm not saying one is a bigger problem than the other and honestly, changing Halondrus' mote spawns to be more balanced, fixing Rygelon's spell queuing giving varying enrage times, etc are legitimately things that should be fixed (and I can even understand why they make it through QA). But if both sides had the same reset time, they'd have the chance to encounter them at the same time. Obviously sleep schedules would play a role, but it's hard to believe that this is still a thing.
