All the average players saying depletes are bad and a terrible design for pugs / weekly 10'ers. Blizzard - " Let's make no depletes for 12+ ! " Really great choice there.
why wouldnt they make it so the key cant deplete below the different crest thresholds, at all levels?feel like that would take the sting out of not timing a key

How many players even bother going for 2850 rating? This is something that's done for the elite 1% of the M+ players.
The point of no depleting key is to help people slowly progress, why gate it until you have a rating of 2850?

Does it REPLACE old affix (which is ridiculous and causes horrible difficulty ramp and basically killed season 1), or is it AN ADDITION to currently active fun-killing ramp?
I like 12s not depleting to 11s because that means you can actually practice different things in the dungeons. The only issue I have is that you won't get the required IO for the achievement until you have ~5 of the 8 dungeons timed at +12.
Hahaha, they really don't want to solve one of the main problems they've created for M+.Just remove this mechanic. If the group wants to reset the key for whatever reason (mostly like people leaving/dcing/griefing), they can leave the dg and restart the key.As long as they don't finish the dg and loot the final chest, they can keep trying to time the key. If they loot it, then you deplete the key (and no higher weekly vault for taking 1h+ to finish the dungeon, you don't get that for wiping for 8hs in a raid boss. Timing the key = Raid boss kill).
