Vote Morgan Day for hottest wow dev!
Man I love pushing m+. Hope they make more positive changes. I don't know a single person who thinks Challenger's peril is "interesting" or "fun". It's just stupid. Take the L and remove it. Also, please stop removing more and more strength from players and making difficult roles like tanking and healing more difficult please, makes pugs hell and hard to fill.
It's just frustrating because these changes were clocked as massive Ls by the playerbase as soon as they were announced, but here we are in season 2 with the devs still trying to make them work. They had a good thing with M+, I don't understand why they insist on making it worse every expac.
Doubling down on the tank changes is just an asinine take. Someone has to check their ego’s and just admit it was a mistake.
I swear Morgan, reminds me of Tony Hale
Never get tired of learning absolutely nothing from these sterilized bs interviews, great job blizz reps.
Every single time Blizzard does an "interview", it reinforces my belief that the people making the game don't actually play it. And if any of them do actually play the game, they've been sniffing their own farts so long that they think they can't have bad ideas. Every update is a long list of "Why would you do this" with a little sprinkling of "It's too late for this to make a difference, but thanks I guess".
Imagine having a percentage based scaling up system already in place but then you think, "I have a brilliant idea", and add ANOTHER percentage based scaling up into that existed one and call it "job well done".Anyone with simple math understanding will tell you how BAD this implementation really is and yet they won't admit their failure (when they EVER do?) and keep making minor changes to justify their failure for these changes. That would be Xal'atath's Guile in a nutshell. 🙃
Bad questions and bad answers, as per usual on a WoW dev interview. No mention to valorstones, no mention to every pack on a M+ having 10 different things going on, no mention to any social changes for M+ (which is increasingly feeling more miserable), no mention on them making changes just for the 1% (key depletion for example), no mention on how bad those affixes are or why there are affixes at all. etc. It's amazing how these invetviews are made by shills for shills. Not a single hard question or follow up.
Corpa man gives corpa answers
Developer…? Daily joke complete.
S2 looking worse and worse every day...Both raid and M+ still overtuned as hell despite the fact blizzard promised to make them much easier for pugs...Shame...
Still love how I have to do the same dungeon again on a lower difficulty if I want to re-prog the difficulty I already unlocked.Stupid system. KSH and AFK like usual.
I dont like how they split the m+ playerbase to: casual keystone hero players & neckbeard high key pushers. most of the players are actually in the middle of the 2. as in get keystone hero fast bcuz its toddler level easy, my grandma with blindfold gets keystone hero, and then push from week to week to a high score without being too sweaty about it. the meta from the neckbeards trickles down to those players. he didnt address it. he only said that yea high keys have narrow meta but we dont care because its only perception and its actually healthy for keystone hero players..
get rid of aug + pi and participation will improve everywhere
Its crazy they adressing real issues, talking about rubberbanding player HP but when you log in to PTR, all you see players rubberbanding at 12-13s AT 678 GEAR, like huhh? Either the "they dont even play the game" is real or they just talking the PR (yeah we know things are wrong, yeah we listentothefeedback yeah teams already working on it) but in game they dont do actually anything to solve the issues they are talking about in blueposts/interviews.
