Yawn. 9.1 sounds like such a minor patch to me. Not really into raids and Korthia sounds like yet another Broken Shore. Same old dalies, few rewards, and it'll be completely obsolete the moment 9.2 hits, with little to no motivation to ever return.
I really hope they get their heads out of their asses and implement solo queue. The arguments against it is pathetic. Wanting a "certain team comp" for m+? Different goals? If your goal isn't to time the key, make a group. For 99% the goal is to time their key. And for arena some specs are just straight up undesireable for every comp. So reroll or afk is the solution? Balance is obviously not a real concern.I can't wait for them to realize that it's the best wsy forward. Camping in a slightly improved LFG system (which basically sounds like the exact thing we have on live, just with a couple addons being implemented as part of the game) is not a solution. Its the same as the argument against catch-up. Most people want it fast, but some poeple like it slow. Difference is, there is room to go slow with a fast system, but not the other way around...
Following a previous interview this week in which they've stated that SoloQ is NOT on the table at all, and then this, in which Ion basically called me trash, I think I'm ready to cancel my sub (after 16 years). They don't give a s**t about the PvP community and the PvE end is.... well it's just s**t, isn't it?
I'm really sad about the current state of wow pve. 9.1 is going to be the first patch I won't play
I also don't understand the anti-solo queue mentality, specifically for PVE (I don't PVP). There is no reason to not be able to queue up to, let's say, a +5... heck, even a +10. Even a freakin' +0 lol. Why in the world is that not an option? Blows my mind.
I feel like a lot of these issues would be solved if they A) either added playable burning legion and scourge factions to the game, or B) added more customization options to the existing races/classes.
It's funny when i see people still mention the pandemic.. in Australia that was basically over 10 or so months ago.. hell we barely even noticed it existed.. /shrug
