Its UI was completely bad to use

You could not opt in as specific role until wotlk so it would be matching based on what your class could do

It was an "improved" version of meeting stones system which under the hood used same broken matchmaking

Technically in retail LFG refers to the premade group UI (like you use for M+), which is what they said they would be porting to TBC since the one in TBC was garbage. Now if they actually bring the DUNGEON FINDER in that's a problem because that's what people mean when they say "LFG", the click a button and get put in a group thing.

People need to be a bit more clear what they are talking about. LFG is NOT the random/cross-realm/teleporting finder, they would refer to that as Dungeon Finder.Comment by redbackdon't break out your pitchforks just yet, some of this stuff could just be left overs from the shadowlands client.
