Platynator, nuff said. Now, without my bias, I do think Platynator is a great add-on that people should give a chance.
Thanks Platynator looks promising after plater floods me with errors and dont let me start on platers UI - a simple mode would be more than needed.
No hp plates with names and class colors is how I set up my friendly players. Hopefully that also works in dungeons cause it goes back to bars for some reason with platnator.
I just wish my blizzard end nameplate show / hide settings would save.I'm having to re-do them every time I relog.
Have to use a CVAR command to have something that's worse than addons, yup, that's blizzard for you. Can't even have class color name on that thing, so useless.
I used the string. It turned friendly nameplates on but the whole plate. Not just the names as shown in picture.

Doesn't work with friendly player nameplates + cvar on live. The full bars are shown.
Are these hidden friendly plates still going to bump into enemy plates and move them around?
You can make the name plates slim with the default blizzard settings. They do not have to be blocky.
we want class color + names only. too bad it doesn't work in dungeons anymore.
I turned friendly names for both npcs and players off way back whenever it was first possible.Imho you have to be clinically insane to want to have friendly nameplates, espacially in raiding or m+. Never felt the need to see $%^&ing names and bars above other (friendly!) players.
