Whole mode is cooked. I get my dailys done and then im outtie.
somehow worse than prop hunt
"wow community trying not to ruin a fun gamemode by being tryhard" challenge (Impossible!)
.... The entire point of the game is to hide in plane sight. How is that something new? That is literally how the mode is suppose to play. And it doesn't matter because seekers can just spam their abilities while hiders have cooldowns. The only way hidders can even win in most cases is if you have people not paying attention or get on that statue.
Don't get me wrong, some people already knew about these spots anyway, but actually sharing a story to the public on how to show more people how to get to these spots is kinda scummy and only hurts the already terrible mode more.
Another example why Spellbreaker is the best Seeker spec, they can just jump to those places and tag those hiders.
All blizz has to do is impose a 1-minute cooldown on all seeker abilities, with an instant reset added if and only if they reveal a hider with it, and remove the stupid flies debuff.Right now this game mode punishes you for being good at blending in and it feels bad.
Well there goes my best hiding spot Ive been using for the last couple weeks. Blizzard will for sure fix this now.
1) Remove the whistle.2) Remove the flies.3) Remove the permafound towards the end of the match. It's so incredibly stupid.4) Give all seekers access to a leap spell.5) Give hiders a button similar to mages teleport "drop up" where they can choose which prop they want to transform to instead of having to cycle through them all.6) Give the Arcane Ranger stealth spell an indicator of how far away it reaches before the hider can see you.7) Give hiders an indicator of which prop they are changing place with - and the prop should show in which direction its "front" is so you don't change to it and then run right into the seeker chasing you because the bowl/lamp/flask/whatever was facing the direction you were coming from.8) Put a cover over the door before the match starts. You can literally see hiders running around. If I want to hide somewhere that is visible from the seeker place, I can't, because they will see me if they pay attention.9) Give us more maps.10) The currency reward should be based on how long you stay hidden and how many people you tag - not just based on win/lose and "excellence". Every tag is 5 extra coins. Every 30 seconds you stay untagged is 5 extra coins.Oh, and personally I have disconnected like 5 times at the start of the match as you first enter before you know if you are a seeker or hider. I don't have a bad gaming PC, but I think the purple smoke spell makes me disconnect because it's a lot setting off at once or something? So that should be improved on.
Yeah Seekers can spam their abilities and they need to be able to because the map is cooked and you have a hundred random objects spawning in every game, so everything/nothing is out of place. That wheel of cheese sitting in the middle of the room? Could be one of those random objects, could be a hider. So you must spam your ability on everything to make sure.
I love how people always complain about balance. If you just play both sides once, it’s always a fair game, no matter how different the seeker and hider roles are
I wish there was a practice mode to find new spots. There is so little time to try new places.
L wowhead post.
I can't help but think that this is exactly the kind of easy to find exploit that a QA team would find in the first 20 minutes. "Guys, look, I can get up here and you can't!"Maybe the multibillion dollar company owned my a multitrillion dollar company can afford to hire back some of the QA testers they fired for no reason?
