can someone explain to me why either the boss gets tagged for anyone in raid but me or the chest despawns,i did in 8 times in row,everyone is looting but me
Is it possible that this is a two week lock out? The chest is there for me and I cant click on it after reset.
I am ilvl 380 and got a 376 2H from Flood (382 equipped) and a 379 chest from Elements (had 376 equipped).
The Trial of Elements 1-2 hr timer is wrong me and cuple guildies wait over 3-4 hrs for the event to start nothing happened only to find out is happend on different shards so make sure you shard hope to do that Trial because it wont always be on your shard
Does anyone know if the drops are based on your current loot spec? I'm a mistweaver and swapped to brewmaster because my group needed a tank, and a tank trinket dropped for me. Forgot to set my loot spec. FML lol
This doesn't seem to scale up anymore. I am consistently getting items below my overall item level.
Hello, this is a pretty old post, but i cant seeem to find any timers on wowhead or weakaura timers for the trial of elements, do we know the spawn timer is it specific? or random to the zone?

Event: Trial of the ElementsChest: Chest of the ElementsPattern: Design: Ring-Bound Hourglass/way #2025 59.85, 82.27 (portal to primalist future) Thaldraszus/way 29.30, 25.97 (cave location inside primalist future)Spawns every hourIf "storms fury" event is up (it lasts 2 hours) then this chest event won't spawn - Note that even if you complete the storms fury event that dos NOT mean the storms fury event is not up. It lasts for 2 hours in total. IE you do the event in first 15-20 min it will still take another 1 hour 45 min or so before the event is no longer active. You can use an alt to see if its still up after completing or you can look on front page of wowhead to see when its overBecause the chest event is phased during the storms fury event it WILL NOT spawn. Therefore as soon as the storms fury event is over the chest should appear so be at the cave as storms fury event comes to an end is best time to get it without waiting without knowing when it will spawn.Warning: If your waiting at the cave during the Storms Fury event for it to finish be aware you'll get stacks of a freezing debuff which will dmg you more and more. The freezing debuff stops once storms fury event is no longer activeSo you'll know the event is up several ways.1. If you have not done the event previously you should get a notification of the event if your in the vicinity and the event starts2. You should see brown and white swirlys on the ground during the event (even if you already completed)3. You should see a chest icon with triangles or whatever around it on your map4. You should see the chest with the lock on it inside the cave.4 stagesClick the locked chest to start the event.Phase 1-3: spawns swirlies on the ground you'll want to try to avoidspawns waves of elementals to kill (some elite ones i think but hard to tell with amount of ppl killing them too fast)Phase 4: spawns a mini boss, Therrocitethen the chest is "unlocked" and lootable - During the event the chest looks ghostly or like icey mist is covering it along with a ghostly chain around itYou can only loot the chest/do the event once per week.Script to see if you looted chest this week on that toon:/script print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(71995))***DespawningIf the event is active but you don't see the "stage 1,2 3 or " thing then its bugged and you won't be able to loot the chest (or you've already completed the event and can't loot the chest again till next week). I wish we had a major patch that just focused on the bronze dragonflight, chromie, infinite dragons and murozond. Would have been sooooooo epic! Maybe we will get an expansion devoted to it in the future. I thought we would get 5 major patches with DF, each one focused on a dragon type and those stories. And we did, just a lower scale. Get it, "scale"? lololI hope we see more of this stuff in the future. So many possibilities!
