Guys is ok to stop playing for a while if a fated season doesn't cater to your wants. There's a bunch of other stuff you can do with your lives meanwhile. The game won't die. If you have a FOMO, that's your own lack of emotional regulation, it's not the game's fault. You either stay playing or you don't. Nobody will judge you.
If we only get season 4 with fated raids and no actual new raid that's a big shame. So we'll have a year with no new content. And also we paid the same price as every other expansion but get less content?I would have been fine with a mini raid. Like 5 bosses. Just something to tide us over
Well, another season to take a break. I think only a few players enjoyed fated season in SL but not me. Gonna be a good chance to log in only to farm mounts in old content again.
SURELY ele gets talent changes
Triggered TWICE right at the beginning. NICE.Dinars being "too generous" is totall bull@#$%. That was the best part of it. And they can't say we got it for free...Second time is the legendary. A lot of time ago they said something along the lines of not wanting to implement legendaries with restricted accessability. That's why it was "E for everybody" in the last few expansions. And the last 2 they added just what they said back then they don't want. Make this make sense...
So we have one more raid and then nothing for 6-9 months. Fated is filler and doesnt count as content. It will kill my guild just like the last fated laziness killed my previous guild. Glad I didn't pay for 6 month sub. Most will finish this raid and then unsub and MAYBE come back for the next xpac. M+ is already close to dead, imagine how dead this game will be before the next xpac.
I have a feeling the acquisition process is referring to after you get the item and that the item will hopefully not be the same rng drop as I swear they said it was quest based at some point
"Based on feedback, they may reconsider the approach of implementing legendaries."This is almost word for word what the response to how bad the evoker legendary acquistion was. 'Oh thanks for feedback, we'll think about it' . AFTER bad luck protection came in. Feedback was almost universally 'tying it entirely to an RNG chance is simply bad. '
How exactly was Dinar too generous? You could only get three items, the first one took 3 weeks of full clears to get, and the final one was only available after a month and a half of full clears. I wouldn't exactly call that "generous".If they want to extend the acquisition time a little to fit a full season better (maybe an extra week or two per token?) then sure, I can understand that, but that's it. Referring to it as a catch up mechanic also seems very out of touch imo, bad luck protection would be a much more accurate description.
Blizzard has had almost 20 years now to plan ahead for this end of expansion "content draught". One of the top things I enjoyed about Dragonflight was the patch cadence and that every 3ish months we got NEW content. This means we'll get 10.2.5 as a story update with maybe an outdoor event and then all we have to look forward to after that drops in February? will be a fated season and then prepatch. But with 6 months of 10.2 fated probably won't be until May or June and then months of redoing old content...And yes, I would rather they plan their games patch cycle out to know this is a thing at the end of expansions instead of recycling old content. It worked once in Shadowlands because they used Covid and other excuses but this can't stay the new norm please.
