Don't forget to hold on to it until you get some runed/gilded crests in order to be able to craft some actual upgrades.Also don't forget that falling behind on them is not the end of the world, according to the spark currency tooltip, it seems that it's not hard to get back on track.In other words, the world doesn't end if you don't get them before the reset (despite what the clickbaity article title is trying to make you believe).
They are always easy to catch up on. My alts NEVER do any type of content that makes me waste my time, so they may miss delves and definitely dungeon quests, but nice thing is the next week I get the Radiant Cache for just using resonance crystals to buy 12 radiant remnants, I get the cache and a fractured crafting shard, same for finishing the Eyes of the Weaver quest, and the weekly grande cache you can earn if it offers an adventure you want to do. No worries about losing out on the crafting mats.Blizzard has taken away earning a guaranteed 4 Restored Coffer keys per week now by only offering coffer key shards if you open anything besides the Pinnacle Cache. The Seasoned Adventure's Caches from special assignments and all the other reward caches only give shards to make keys.
Never use the first spark in the first weak - thats a casual fail.

i cant wait for us to get another full spark next week, and some people get an extra half. now those people get the spark one week faster
Joke is on you those weekly activity quests didn't give me my half-spark on my main!
Oh you get two this week? Was confused when Spark of Starlight didn't reward another half-spark. I get that it helps make players aware of Spark Crafting, but I really wish it wouldn't pop up on every character that loots a half-spark...

Here's to hoping there's a complete overhaul of crafting for Midnight. At least let us place public orders with the ability to specify rank/quality.
FOMO is for Mythic level Raiders/Gladiators... casuals - as someone above referred to many players as - don't get FOMO.
Got my two sparks of starlight on my main ... got one on my alt ... did the same thing as my main .. eight delves eight mythic zero's, all weekly's and stuff .. go figure ... thanks blizzard for screwing this up !
