Waah i cant endlessly farm champion level gear from the easiest solo content there has ever been.the world is ending,
I think it's very poor planning to time gate the Delver's Journey at 4 for two weeks. It would make more sense to move the buy keys reward to 9 and then they could let you get 4 tiers each week and then let you get the 9th and final tier in the third week. That would smooth out progression and make it feel more rewarding. Brann's leveling is also weird. Why was I stopped at 92? Very odd cap level. I'd like some consistency and a Blizzard post about how it's supposed to work instead of wondering if it's bugged and when it's going to be fixed.
It’s more keys per week so idk why you bring up the coffee shards in caches as some give full keys and some give shards and they are autonomous from each other. Week 1 I got 6 keys, 2 I got 5
Delves already are boring as all hell. Yea ima just go back to classic till midnight launches
1) Delves were promised to be an alternate gearing path that stands on its own. There are so many limiting factors besides the Delvers Journey progress bar, it practically gates a player: daily 4 bountiful delve. Undercoin resets every season, and not transferrable between chars. Bountiful map is pretty much limited. Upgrading this gear from delves is limited due to crests being capped/limited. And then they go ahead and limit it even more. Why?2) Drops are tooootally random, I keep getting trash loot, for example staff on elemental shaman. Most of the drops are vendor trash. Think I've gotten 1 or 2 usable piece in 2 weeks one of my hero track gear was vendored instantly, so thats a good way to spend time. I never ever ever bought a coffer key from the vendor. I can barely want to farm enough coins to buy the cosmetics. 3) Also I do delves with my family, they are doing m+ and raids which I don't. So it is our family time in the game in the first 2-3 weeks. We were very happy to find some activity that we can do together. For some weeks anyways. Usually after this couple of weeks the bar is filled and I have enough coins to buy most of the stuff from the vendor, and my itemlevel is not horrible. 4) Most importantly: I just want to fill that damn bar for cosmetic rewards and achieves. I would not do delves for gear only. Running delves for nothing feels bad. This was meant to be a flagship feature.5) I have plenty keys just by doing world stuff I guess, I often don't even notice getting them. So I don't really understand the !@#$ery around buyable ones. I don't have enough undercoin to even buy ONE key (ok I spent like 2500 last week). :DDelves should be iterated on. Maybe let us pick loot in bountiful delves from 3 pieces like in the vault. So many delve trinkets that are totally useless, they are almost an insult to even create them. So many wrong loot for specs that don't use that weapon (shaman + staff)Take out the "player power" elements from delver's journey, and/or put the buyable keys to a different currency, not the one that is for cosmetics so that limiting that resource doesn't affect the cosmetic acquisition (thought we all learned from MoP remix and bronze?)
I don't remember a journey cap in either of the two previous seasons like this. I think you couldn't gain any more points after doing 28 delves in a week across your warband, which is equal to doing the 4 bountiful delves each day on one character i.e. no benefit from spamming alts. I guess that's technically a cap but I don't remember a specific rank cap. You could end up with more or less points depending on what tiers you ran with those 28 weekly bountifuls and that's it.In any case I never was capped immediately at the start of a reset day. I figured their journey fix messed up the reset but it's obvious now it's specifically coded to stop awarding points after people reach rank 4. Seems like they kept the extreme timegate after increasing the journey point awards by throwing on the rank cap.
