They'll literally do anything if it means extending sub times.
Can only get keys when you don’t need them anymore
Maybe we should all start timegating our subscriptions until all the content is available to play.
The time gating issue is it's own thing, but there is clear misinformation from this article. Any 11.2 content gives a full key, up to 4 per week, and anything from previous content gives 50 shards, up to 4 per week for a total of 6 keys. We can get more keys than before, nothing is slowed down.
The coffer keys/champion gear are basically worthless. I just want to progress the bar for the cosmetics. Instead of locking progress entirely they should restrict when you can buy coffer keys if they care about people getting too many.
I mean I literally have had 30 keys on one character so far this season, and with echoes you can practically have infinite. Soooo yeah, that's just silly.
I don't understand how this slows down key acquisition. I did every weekly thing on a single character the last 2 weeks and received 7 keys a week, up from 4 from the last 2 seasons. In all honesty, I think people are just too used to doing the same 4 things every week to get 4 quick keys, and Blizzard changed it.Now, I will agree that Blizzard changing it and saying nothing at all is a horrible move. When you make a change like this, it should be front and center, in sizable font, so everyone understands it. Not a stealth change from Season to Season with nothing said.
Timegating casual content with an iron fist. Gotta love it.
I didn't like how many delves it took to unlock the weekly map.Delves don't feel rewarding for me on alts without the map.
It seems very odd to have this kind of a bar to fill and then timegating it. World/delve/whatever content feels like its the perfect one to add even an infinite grind for that rewards non combat fun stuff.Im guessing this is in place cause before using heroic crests, champion and hero gear is essentially the same and they would rather have you do m+ for gear. Or they dont want people who like m+ to feel like they should delve a lot, who knows. Still giving an illusion of a grind you cannot actually grind is quite bad design. If you really want to limit brann exp or journey progress, make it at least visible in the game.
did they also nerf the delvers map drop chance? normally get one from chests after 1st (sometimes 2nd) T11...so far have 8 alts with 3 tier 11s a piece and haven't seen a single map.
We can purchase 2 keys from the vendor per week, per account. If this is their reason for capping Delver's Journey, and all the issues we have had and continue to have with Delves early in 11.2 are not a reason to lift that cap or at least slow down the bug reports & speculations by explaining what's happening right now, then I don't know...
