How in Hells name is this an easy mount to get?
Ah good memories of this mount. Daily Maw clears would have become unbearable much sooner if this mount didn't exist. Also Twisting Corridors was much more fun than I thought it would be. Yes every layer was an hour or more long but you felt so strong on the last couple of floors, literally one shotting everything with a single ability.
I think the author thought it meant floor 8...
230-ish NElf Hunter, still haven't cleared Layer ONE. Can get to about floor 16 or 17, but then get smashed...admittedly I don't think I've tried since I got my ilvl above 230, probably last tried around 225...maybe now I could just squeak by?
This is probably still very hard for most players. Also extremely time consuming unless they changed how the layers unlock. You have to do each previous layer and runs of TC take a good chunk of time.
sometimes i'm not sure why even bother
A tip for people who are considering trying for the Corridor Creeper who might not have had much luck yet-You can reset Twisting Corridors repeatedly by entering/leaving until you get a power from the beginning anima cell that is good. (This trick also kinda technically works in regular wings of Torghast, but you have to complete the first floor for the power at the beginning to reset) It's a bit repetitive but it's a way to give yourself a bit of a leg up on the challenge. You can also use this trick to swap out of a particular wing/zone you don't want to do, such as getting Mort'regar or something like that right off the bat.
Easy mount? You get basically two shot on the last 6 floors of level 8...it's not a fun two hours to spend per attempt.
Twisting Corridors is either face roll or teeth pullingly hard. There is no in between, and it all depends on whether or not you roll good anima power ups.
i soloed the place as a marks hunter with 210 ish gear. never play fair use the broken mechanics as much as possible.
Guys, this IS easy to get... for the same people who cheese the mage tower by exploiting and over-gearing.
Not sure if people realize this, but Blizz is absolutely terrible at scaling stuff. If you're doing Twisted Corridors (especially on the higher layers) you MUST take at least a handful of those horribly boring powers that just give u a flat hp increase. Also the ones that just give like passive stats like 3% vers or crit or haste or whatever, but the HP one in PARTICULAR is vital because the last 3 floors everything will just 1 shot u if u walk in with base hp and make the whole thing significantly more aids to do. Take busted powers yes ok, but take the boring ones too that give u more survival because the last 3 floors (and boss) are going to do absurd damage regardless of anything else. This worked in 9.0 so I can't imagine how it wouldn't work in 9.1
