Complete Aqir Invasions Before Their Removal in 12.1.7 for Cheaper Rewards

It was a waste of development time, then remove, why?

Its a terrible grind, why not let people grind that at their own pace? Makes no sense after already wasting time and resources on it (and to fix it after the release).

WHY?

Bruh. It's PropHunt all over again. FOMO FOMO FOMO

Comment by Linaori

I keep forgetting this "event" exists... I'm growing real tired of these pointless grinds. Not only do you have to wait an hour each time, it's literally pointless.

It took me several weeks to even notice this because I was still saturated by grinds I was postponing from the previous patch...

Great use of development time

Comment by Kilgharrah96

I’d play it more if they lowered the time it takes for the next one after by 30mins rather than every hour

Comment by Lostelf

Wait this was supposed to be a limited time event? Lmao why, it's not even really relevant to the story and feels like all the other events they do every patch.

Comment by Reyoness

Bliz makes world content.

Content is bugged, Content is terrible

Try it once or twice. See its bugged, See its terrible.

Bliz makes it more terrible and also removes it in the very next patch.

Repeat.

Comment by Nihilism

Oh. An unmemorable event. Like the rest of this expansion. Can’t wait for the next invasion event!

Comment by Hotusma

wait i can spend move afterwards to not have to do this %^&* ass content? hell yea i only wanted the mount anyway.

Comment by ApturoTopturo

FOMO invasion slop lol

Comment by Telapo666

Every hour I have a chance to get maybe 300 rep? This "event" is the worst invasion event ever. I hope this is the last invasion event I ever have to do int his game. Just do daily hubs or something.

Comment by SnyRNG

So you can technically skip all the rep grind which took around 20 odd hours while group hooping for last boss kills, what doubled or tripled your rep gained per hour, at the cost of them being slightly higher price minus the title and 4 feats of strength that most wouldn't care about anyway.....
it really pays to play the game while its current content, this will not encouraging people to do it now when they can not take part and get all the rewards without having to put any effect in at all

Comment by Asarkhadon

I thought they would remove AI in 12.2, never could even dare thinking of 12.1.7; this is incredible levels of FOMO. I envision the funneling with throngs of events like Pirate Day - "you have 24h to do stuff or gtfo".

Luckily, dedicated players were done with AI on week 1, so they're not losing anything, the grind is tolerable for everyone who is not striving for ATT completionist mode. For the latter gear drops from the bosses are weekly gated, random, and will go away soon, so it's quite painful without hordes of alts.

Comment by Chezade

Nah, I don't think I will. Terribly boring, event as rewards.

Comment by GabrijelCz

Blizzard never learns or perhaps they simply refuse to learn at this point, I honestly can't tell.
They should leave time-limited "events" to gacha games at least those games are capable of offering a somewhat enticing reward with a reasonable time frame.
Hopefully, they’ll at least reduce the interval between invasions from an hour to 20 minutes, or increase the reputation gain by 200% waiting an hour for something so pointless is just ridiculous.
And most importantly, they should state right at the start when an event launches that it’s time-limited id*ots.

Comment by OnionHead

Is there a limit on how much rep you can get at a time? The last 2 i did i didnt get the 100 rep from killing the boss. I'd love to finish this before its gone, but not even the game wants me to do it.

Comment by edellea

whoever has been designing the content of midnight needs a new job because wtf were making even the copy paste invasion event into fomo?... midnight continues to baffle me with the choices blizzard keeps making.

Comment by MaximusPM

Why remove it? Why now? Why not wait at least until 12.2? Makes no sense

Comment by Lyndiaa

I don't care what they want to do really. I ignored this slop after tried it once.

Comment by Mightylink

This is why I'll only play Forever.
