Comment by qaccyI'll just note that Remix's scaling doesn't do the withered any favors period. Even on normal world tier, they still go down in 1-2 hits from any dangerous abilities. It's really just the extra health that makes heroic harder, because the more time spent in combat, the more time enemies have to splat your withered.

Ultimately I'd recommend just putting this one off until you can essentially one-shot anything in there, rather than trying to sneak through and be careful.Comment by dmasterman I don't know what y'all are talking about, if your character can murder everything inside (I'm not that high on versatility, maybe 120 or so?) all you have to do is keep one withered alive and shred the place. Goes pretty quick, especially if you're a class with decent AOE.

I didn't even buy more withered. I just started it, killed everything in sight for a few rooms and got 200 points super quick. Maybe don't try it if you just hit 80 and you're in 584 gear or worse obviously, but for anyone who has been playing their main semi-regularly and done maybe 2-3 raid clears a week it should be super easy to do this just like everything else. You don't have to be of the level that you can clear mythic raids solo or anything, I don't think I have done more than a few raid clears on mythic only any given week since hitting 80 on my DH and I still don't have full 740 gear.Comment by CandlelightToys! A big reason to do the Withered Army Training event is that we earn toys that cannot be purchased with Bronze. There are a handful of toys that have a high chance of dropping from the reward chests once the event concludes. Like the article says focus smaller enemies, avoid the big ones. This isn't a race, it's a marathon and you will have more success fighting smaller packs. Don't worry about the bigger chests as they cost withered to send back. Always collect the extra withered along the way. 200 points is nothing.Comment by decimortisI honestly didn't know this was giving that many people trouble. I'm not a very good player, and I got to just over 500 points using the base amount of withered.
My only guess is that doing it as prot warrior was what helped. I made sure I was taunting like crazy and keeping aggro on me at all time. The white elementals exploded at low health and those were the mobs that were killing my withered so I made sure to nuke those guys with fel spike and not engage another until fel spike was back up.Comment by NihilismAh yes, game winning tips like:

Just, like, kill enemies. The Withered do die very easily, sometimes even while just walking around, but that happened in Normal too. The Remix scaling for any of this kinda bonus content is wonky as. But 200 points is genuinely trivial, I really don't feel like this warranted an article and I truly can't imagine anyone is legitimately struggling with this.Comment by ZaraszIt might be bugged. I attempted this again with over 200 versatility and 20 guys but lost most to a wraith and the guy who spawns at random midway. Shortly after I lost the rest. Still dont really know why. Got ported out at that point.
