I gave them the benefit of the doubt, assuming it was a server load problem.

But in the end, they really did just want to force people to do quests the hard slow way.

Anytime I was group leader and someone was just flying around I tossed them out. It's so ridiculous, it seems obvious they're going to re-enable some of that functionality a month or two after BFA launches. That's what's happening here.
